No, that’s not what keeps my marriage together (next year is our 30th). It is true that there are hard seasons, and difficult periods of frustration. Nothing outside of the two of us has kept the marriage going. Don’t look to invisible outside forces to do any of the work for you. You and your spouse alone will make or break the bond between you. Now… if you believe god is inspiring you personally to do the work, I can understand why you feel that way, but the relationship itself? No forces are going to jump in and take the burden. The good news is, that realization alone (the toe of you against the world!) should inspire you both to give 100% to the other, and with no expectations in return. Most people demand “50/50” and that is why things go sideways. No. Give 100% and demand nothing in return. You might be surprised at the response.

The wisdom of the Church fathers nailed to the signposts of history have been continually posted in the One Holy Catholic (not Roman) and Apostolic Church and survives today.Origen’s heretical teachings were anathematized in Constantinople. You don’t have to go to any Church to have a personal relationship with Christ, but, if you want to grow and strengthen that relationship to its greatest potential through worship and receiving the Sacraments the best place with the greatest chance to possibly please Christ most, all things being equal is the Orthodox Church where every Sunday, Feast Day, Holy Week and Pascha you here the wisdom of the Church Fathers including Scripture, secured by the Church’s fundamental organizational principle, enduring consensus established in first century Jerusalem when James and the Apostles rebuked, what would have been considered anathematized heresy at any later time by anyone else, of St. Peter’s teaching that you had to become Jewish before becoming Christian. The Orthodox ritual is full in the Old Testament from Genesis, Isaiah and the Psalms are adored in a manner that’s only second to the Gospels and Epistles. Is the Orthodox Church the perfect Church? No! Is it the True Church? There is a strong historical and scholarly argument to say, Yes! If I had Dr. White as my Pastor I would be quite comfortable knowing I get the full picture. But he isn’t so what I do is go to the idiot proof Greek Orthodox Church where I’m not all that interested in the resume of any Priest because it’s obvious that I’m not being nurtured by his wisdom. Rather I’m being nurtured by the Wisdom of the Apostles who handed down Scripture, Ritual and Tradition to those they taught and appointed to be disciples themselves through great adherence to their direct succession just as Dr. White laid out. Bravo Dr. White. With every syllable you make me better and provide great illumination to my journey to Christ. I wish every Bishop, Priest, Presbyter, Pastor and Deacon could have similar scholarship before they are handed a Bible and sent out to deliver God’s word and administer his Sacraments. May God Grant you many years and, I certainly don’t want to jump the gun here by many decades but, when you fall asleep in the Lord may your memory, and work, be eternal. Thank You P.S. "God in man" does not equate at all to "God as man".

I think this teaching is not accurate. There's no exegesis going on. James wrote to Jews awaiting the Messianic Kingdom and under the law of Moses. James did not write to the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is saved by the blood of Jesus. The Body is justified, glorified, sanctified, and seated with Christ in the heavenly realms. James totally dismisses the blood of Christ. James says that justification is by works in the Shema and obedience to the Law of Moses. It's obvious that James's audience are Jews under the Law of Moses. We as the Body are not under the Law of Moses.

We need exegesis, not guesses. James and Paul are in contradiction. They do not harmonize. 1. Paul's object of faith is Jesus Christ's blood atonement for our sins. James's object of faith is the Jewish Shema. Why? 2. James says that faith in the Jewish Shema doesn't save, but must be combined with obedience to the Law of Moses. James's doctrine of justification is bloodless, crossless, and Christless. Is James ashamed of Christ crucified? 3. Peter and John were in the room when Christ said, "This is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for the remission of sins." James, Peter, and John talked with one another after Christ's resurrection. Did James miss the part of the blood of Jesus for the remission of sins? 4. James wrote to Jews under the Law of Moses.

We're not going to Heaven. Not sure why so many teachers say that. Heaven is coming down to us! The Holy City, New Jerusalem! God created us to live on Earth, not in Heaven. When we die, we don't go anywhere. We sleep and await the resurrection. Those are easily understood texts. Please don't tell me you celebrate all of those secular Christianized holidays too 🤦 ?! I came and listened to your perspective on this subject and will keep these things in mind as I continue forward in my studies, but it's so difficult to listen to someone's teaching on a subject when they misunderstand basic teaching. Nonetheless, I say this in love and for edification as we are supposed to for one another. Thank you.

She said yes and eventually after about 7 or 8 months she left the missionary home and stayed at her good friend’s house and waited for me to come and pick her up (this was 01/01/2021;a beautiful start to a new chapter!!😊). It was a three and half hr drive there to south Florida but I was so excited to know I was literally getting closer and closer every inch of every mile and every second of every hr!! Anyways,I pulled up,called her;she came out and we hugged for about 3-5 minutes just standing there. We were already in love. This reminds me of a song that I told God I do not believe I will ever have a reason to genuinely listen to and relate to (God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton). Now I have a reason to play that song knowing that our Awesome God has INDEED given me her as a sign that He hears and loves His people AND is faithful forever and ever. God is Truly Awesome and Is Love!
