    I have been on 30mg Lansoprazole for about 25 years, recently I have been feeling unwell, feeling sick and really tired. been told by my doctor to up my dose to 30mg twice a day. had my blood work done and have been told that my Kidney function has declined. Now I have big concerns about my long term health. Been told to drink more, cut back salt intake, reduce my protein intake and stop all mineral supplements that I take, but no mention of Lansoprazole being an issue. !!!

    GREAT VIDEO! I have been suffering from occasional unsteadiness, caused by tight neck muscles for 20 years. No medical professional could find a cause. Finally, I found a wonderful, gentle PT in Stillwater, Minnesota (OSI Physical Therapy) who applied this technique. WOW, thanks to her, I am feeling 100% better. I now have neck strengthening exercises to keep my neck strong and relax my sub occipitals. After years of going to MD’s, chiropractors, massage therapists, enduring vestibular rehabilitation therapy - 12 weeks of that nonsense - even an MRI, with NO help, I finally found a PT who applied this exact method. It works! Phew. So thankful!

    I had this done a few years ago by a chiropractor and 15 seconds in I fainted for about 20 seconds. I had weakness for a couple days after that and was scared to drive. Recently I did this on myself just lightly with my fingertips, enough pressure to lightly bruise an apple, and I held for a minute. My limbs weakened and I couldn’t sleep that night. I kept getting sharp pains around my brain in random spots but they didn’t hurt and lasted 2 seconds at most. It’s now 2 days since I did this and I’m doing better but still feel a sense of dizziness. I tried lying my neck on a rolled towel but it made the issue worse and made me dizzier. Where can I go to address this? Obviously something is wrong but I’m only 23! I’ve seen a NUCCA chiropractor before all this too where he only adjusted my C1 vertebrae and fixed my spinal tilt in 6 months from a 12.6° degree tilt to now a 6.2° tilt. But I don’t see how that would affect me to this degree… I would love for this technique in the video to help me! 😢

    You can get addicted to this as well. DONT let them fool you. I was on fentanyl patches 10 per month and roxicodones 240 a month The doctor told me this is not for you. He made me go home and tell me think it over for 2 weeks. He would not prescribe it to me. Until I had time to re think it. He said Daniel you are a chronic pain patient you are not a street drug user. This is not for you. I finally went back because my brother claimed it was great. Well it was from the time it hit me after taking 3 I got a high I had never felt before and I also was in zero pain. But after 5 years I got sick bad. The worst cause of nausea ,headaches ,constipation , hemorrhoids are out of control. If I drink any caffeine I get deathly sick. You will only feel good for a few years. I wish I had never switched I regret it. These doctors made my life so hard because they looked at me as if I were a street drug abuser. They treated me like seriously I could not believe the attitude of doctors and nurses. Better read up on it and ask people their experiences before you take this junk. Your teeth will start falling out. I have lost 6 already.

  • @danielkinney6325
    @danielkinney6325 Před 5 měsíci

    This stuff will only work for so long. It will eventually make you feel deathly sick. If you try and use it long term for chronic pain control. I went back to opioids after trying this for more than 5 years because I stay sick after I take it all day long. When I switched back to opioids that sick feeling went away. I cannot explain it. Coffee & caffeinated drinks makes me feel even more sick. This stuff is only good for short term use. If you have a drug problem. It’s not meant for chronic pain treatment. It only worked on me for 5 years. I felt great and they kept me at a very high dose. I didn’t know anything about it. But I started reducing the dose myself from 3 per day down to 1/4 a day. Also major side effects. It will make your teeth fall out. It also causes headaches migraines and bad constipation to the point I now need surgery to remove these things off my butt hole. It causes massive sweating you won’t be able to handle even a little heat. It will ruin your clothes. These side effects started within 3-6 months. But as I said I felt better off the opioids until it started making me feel deathly sick. Also DOCTORS AND NURSES will treat you like a drug addict. Not a chronic pain patient. Your surgeries will be hard because of the ignorance of doctors and their teams. Chronic pain patients are not street drug addicts. But we are all taking the stuff that makes the street drugs. The poppy plant. Heroin is make from the poppy. So are the pain pills. My advice if you are a chronic pain patient don’t go down this road. They are trying to get veterans all switched over to this for a reason. And chronic pain patients don’t have a choice. The doctors quit prescribing and chronic pain patients had no where else to go. I found out about it from my veteran brother. The veterans don’t understand why they are forcing people on this medication!!!

    I’ve been on Nexium 40mg since 2005 . I Take these meds for my back accident , herniations , spinal stenosis, Claudia equine syndrome,.. I became severely anemic the past year. So I went for an iron transfusion. The Month before I was taken off Nexium to Pepcid 40 mg and it worsened my bladder and kidney issues with full blown GERD and stomach issues. After 8 weeks I switched back to nexium and placed myself at lower level to 10 mg instead of 40 mg and I have same issues of gerd , acid , and flooding of fluid from stomach to mouth. I feel horrible. Even sip water and comes up. Going on over 2 months and no relief yet. I’ve changed my meals to broths and no fruit as causes more acid burning in my throat. Waiting for another month for blood test on my iron and to see the specialist. I hoping these side effects stop soon as I’m at my end. I cannot find real liquorice anywhere. Oh something I didn’t know … Pepsid is the same problem as Nexium. If that’s the case I was dropping the med too fast.

    Lately studies have shown that some Honey has been processed to the point where it has all of the Pollen removed or it contains high amounts of High Fructose Corn Syrup added to give it a false Sweetness. The information is on the internet if anyone wants more information on this. It seems that if a person was to use High Fructose Corn Syrup instead of real Honey,they would be feeding the foot infection and making it worse. I thought this would be good information for people with Diabetes to know.

  • @BellyLaugher
    @BellyLaugher Před 6 měsíci

    Very good presentation. I would suggest this additional info be included: the people who get it develop mental health conditions as a RESULT OF HAVING IT/a chronic illness (eg research long ago showed that depression occurs in large numbers of people trying to live w/any chronic illness) and people struggling to live w/MCS's stress levels are unnecessarily, catastrophically, & exponentially increased EVEN MORE by MDs//HCPs responses to them, as MDs & HCPs are STILL NOT taught about MCS, ME in med school (Harvard-despite being given $ to do research by rich woman who had it) & other HCP programs (as of 2024),➡and instead the students are taught biased misinformation/taught the conclusion: MCS is 'not real'/it's psychosomatic/send them to a psychiatrist", resulting in pts being disdainfully dismissed & treated w/contempt by HCPs, many of whom WEAR fragrances & have air fresheners in exam rooms, new carpet, etc in their offices. THAT is why peeps wind up spending $50K before they finally get dx'd, if they do, as well having panic attacks! ALSO, as my Tuft's U. neurologist sd to me in 1996, 'Unfortunately, right now this is predominantly afflicting women, not very many men, and that means there is little interest in researching it and also no money for research."

    This deserves rather 5 million views, then the 5000 it has so far. And I do hope, that more research goes in to how problems present themselves in the lives of people with FASD, since it is a life long condition! Alone from the viewpoint of reducing criminal behavior and trying to help criminal offenders to stop repeating themselves, this is worth many millions of research funding! Some people with FASD do marry, which of course will end in many nasty divorces, as they are incapable of putting themselves in the other person's shoes. So much still to do to diminish the costs of FASD, both in emotional, physical and financial suffering! With an estimated 2% to 5% of the population of 333 million inhabitants, those are 6,67 to 16.6 million Americans!

  • @gardenjoy5223
    @gardenjoy5223 Před 7 měsíci

    Nice to look at the angle of adults. There's almost no information out there. Yet, children with FASD grow up to become adults with FASD. And usually they have a Very Difficult teenage and young adult time, where multiple things go very wrong. One thing to highlight: people with FASD have a huge difficulty learning from mistakes. Making them repeat offenders too. When they get through that and things are somewhat sorted out, then certain disabilities stay with them. Like disorganization, like a way too short fuse and a way too big mouth getting them in trouble at school and at work and basically everywhere, truly not being able to understand other people so having problems in more intimate relationships. Some problems of childhood may seem gone or lesser during adulthood, but can re-occur when aging! I know of a 70 year old male, who started to pee besides the pot again and who just couldn't manage to lock all the doors of his own business property. Then, when those near him stepped in, he'd get very frustrated with their help and accuse them of abuse; where he in fact was abusing them emotionally. Life just always stays different. Real friends are seldomly there and spouses have to endure A LOT! Irresponsible behavior combined with blaming others for their own mistakes don't help any relationship to be stable. Divorce and substance abuse most often follow. Yet, when not hindered in the moment, their true selves (aside from the difficulties FASD bring) can shine through and they are es endearing and helpful as others. Until they hurt the closest ones around them big time, once again. Roller coaster lives, where they finally seek to (again) isolate themselves in work and/or alcohol and/or sex without boundaries.
