As someone who got their license recently I do not recommend midland the test route is good however the instructors will fail you for literally anything I’ve heard this from so Many friends / experienced it myself

Is the speed limit 30kms or 50kms when you made the first turn left after exiting the licencing centre please? I've got an MR test on Tuesday and have heard that people are failing because main roads hasn't marked the area properly as 30kms after the 50km section.

Hi I am wondering, if there is anyone behind fully stops to wait for us to reverse, reluctant to move around us, then can we proceed our reverse parking while they are stopping and waiting or not?

After car inside bay and straight still u didnt straight steering rather let it go further inside and turn ur steering 2 and half and then after did straight steering to park fully inside , right ? I always confuse some people says 2 and half steering some people says straight steering . Which is and y plz explain .

Isn't that an incorrect finish as well poor drive way choice? You've reversed back out onto the road so you need to do your mirror, indicate, blind spot to go forward and then the left indicate to signal the pull over. Would have been better to go up at least one drive way so the finish is not as rushed?

I failed reverse parking in 2 pda tests. According to the instructors I was not looking all around enough but I did! I hate this crap i guess i have to actually move my body to see all the blind spots i guess thats what they wanted me to do? And also because I didn't reverse parking quick enough. So make sure you do them as fast as possible. I have my 3rd PDA test tomorrow. I'm sure I'll pass this one. 😌

Hey, I wanted to know what I should do during the left something behind manouver if I'm trying to make a hook turn and go back even though I know that my ute's turning radius is too big to complete a hook turn. Should i tell the assessor about the turning radius or should i avoid hook turns and look for driveways and roundabouts? Thank you

@11:20 are you allowed to turn around like that during assessment?

So I did a test here last week and as of 2022 I don’t think this is accurate anymore, could’ve been just my route though - I was also failed because the assessor “couldn’t assess” my parking as we “ran out of time” which I really feel isn’t fair because I was just following her directions and I had no control over where we went or how long we took yk?? Friends who did tests at midland agree the assessors are trained to take points off for absolutely anything: I lost 3 for taking too long to pull over, another 3 for “Not attempting to avoid a pothole” and 2 for missing a turn, they’re revenue hunters at best and I lowkey don’t recommend doing a test here at all, go to Northam they literally pass anyone.

What are the parking areas they may take

Why do you have to stay left by default? Wouldn't it be safer to go onto the lane you turned from which is right and then swap lanes once on your right and driving straight?

Do you always go by the same route on the test day at Midland ?

Does the examiner tell you where to stop to turn around for left something behind?

This was my local shop when i was in my teens, brings back memories

"Always signal left before stopping, regardless you parking left or right hand side". Does this apply to forward parking too?

Just wonderinn, um why do we need to signal left whne parking right? Wouldnt that confuse the people behind us or in front of us? Sorry im just confused :))
