The only thing that holds the portage yoke in place are the two spring buttons? Can you drill these out and substitute clevis pins?
Hello Friend! Thank you for your question and for watching the video. The two Pop-Pins are not the only thing holding the Seat/Yoke in place. The two receiver brackets mounted to the canoes gunwales as well as the tension provided by the Seat/Yoke against the gunwales are what provide the holding strength. The Pop-Pins are meant to be a quick user-friendly option to flip the Seat/Yoke from the Portaging Yoke position to the Seat position and vice-versa. We hope this helps answer your question!

How do you change the blade?
Hello Friend! Thank you for your question! The blade is replaced/changed by using a Phillips screwdriver to remove the small screw attaching the blade to the handle. Once removed from the handle you may slide your new blade into the handle slot and reattached the screw as it was in the old blade. Lastly, remove he small nut and bolt from the end of the old blade by using a 3/8 & 5/16 socket or wrench. Once removed, re-install on the end of the new blade and that completes the process! Would you be able to reverse the direction of the c-clam for a Grumman Eagle Canoe? It has the lip ob the outside of the canoe.
My canoe is 45 inches wide that seat wont work
Would be handy to include a case. And not some pretty boy case like the sixty dollar one currently offered.
