When I rewatched, I was struck by how mean Helen was to Clare. Somehow I never noticed Helen’s flaws compared to her love for food. She’s the joker of the group 😂

I like how Aya Hisakawa can mix between soothing and scary voice (during the "save me save me lines") in this one. I didn't watch all episodes yet (still watching) but I hope that the meeting with Priscilla and Claire will be epic!

I wish Sophia and Noel to live longer along Irene... Oh, her VA Megumi Toyoguchi just had 45 Jan 2nd so Happy Birthday I guess!

I just watched Ophelia yesterday. She was awesome indeed despite her attitude quite understandable because of her past, she accepted her death with a grin at Claire's hand. Her Chara Song is sparky too, that's the Original Jupiter : Emi Shinohara for ya!

Helen is one of my favourite characters on this, I love how Miki Nagasawa voices her on Claymore. She rocks!

Memory huh. Well resumed. It maybe the first time I hear Houko Kuwashima singing though she did sung way before (in Martian Successor Nadesico for example, series that I didn't watch yet), I'm impressed indeed.

Priscilla's descent reminds me of Arthas from Warcraft. Despair and uncontrolable circumstances drove both characters to extremes. And despite the manipulation they were under (arthas was tricked into obtaining the cursed sword, and Priscilla was brainwashed by the organization from the start), it was ultimately their decision to do the atrocities they did. But in the end, both characters were aware of what they became and were just begging for death.

I'm so sad, if Claymore had a better anime adaption it would be such a masterpiece, nevertheless this story is stunning, I'm happy to be lucky enough to watch it

Fun fact: before Teresa became no.1, in her first time being real warrior their current no.1 is hysteria the elegant. The organization says that hysteria should beware of her rank because there are 3 newly recruit claymore. This 3 claymore is Teresa,Ilena, and Rosemary. Among the Three, the organization test their strength by slaying a powerful yoma. In the end Teresa became no.8 Ilena no.7 and Rosemary as no.6 warrior. One time if I'm not mistaken, the organization says that hysteria awaken but not fully yet. They gather all the claymore in that field to slay hysteria, but no one can even land a good slash on hysteria because of its speed. The 3 newly recruit then fight hysteria but their power isn't enough to beat her. One time, rosemary was amaze on how Teresa fight 1 vs 1 against hysteria. While fighting, hysteria is very confused as to why Teresa doesn't release yoma power and yet so powerful enough to keep up with her. That's the time rosemary knew that Teresa is much powerful than her. Because of rosemary eagerness to kill hysteria, he then charge to the target which is hysteria in a powerful state which is the use of yoki. Hahaha that's all I can't continue anymore✌️
