Catching a Sockeye Salmon and cooking it up over a bonfire is one of my favorite things to do. There's something special about cooking a salmon only minutes after it came out of the river. Here at The Alaska Connection, it's quite common for us to grill up our fresh catches of the day. Come visit us to experience it for yourself!

I landed in Kenai, Alaska on June 3, 2020, and (like any outdoors lover) I immediately wanted to get my feet in the water to snag some sockeye! ....but they told me there were no fish in the river, so there was no point in trying... So I went out 4 days later and snagged a limit of 3 sockeye on a gravel bar I had all to myself!! Sockeye fishing is always a favorite of mine, so it's easy to tell...

The Lincoln Winnelson Corporate trip was amazing! We had the pleasure of hosting these 12 guys in our cabins right off the river for 6 days. From fishing for salmon on the Kenai River, reeling in 160 pound halibut on the saltwater, and even hiking Exit Glacier in Seward, Alaska, they really got the whole Alaskan experience! If you want this to be you, your work buddies, family, etc... then book...
