@thebikerguysofficial funny story about my 2 days at Oulton. Day one, it was pissing down till 1pm. Went out in the fast group in shit weather on the bike for the first time. Since I come off at the same track. Also that I repaired Did 3 sessions were OK. Day 2, the weather was dry and only 8 degrees. I did 6 of the 7 sessions and sometimes only 3 laps due to red flags. Then worried about cold tyres, etc. I got fucking smoked on that RS. It's topping out at 130mph. There were 2 world endurance race teams there. A guy on a real moto GP 12 bike. A 17 year old on a 40k race bike. It was sole destroying for me.

Yes, it's thousands when you add it up, mate. Knocks me sick. 600 quid just for the 3 track places. 2 nights accommodation. Plus, Mike's fee for the day. Fuel in the van and bike. Tyres. Got caught speeding on the way up. 73 in a 60. Wankers. Lucky for you. I now have a new second track bike that you can use. I'm just spending a bit of money on it to get it, mint. . Going to rent it out eventually. Just to people I know. But it's free to our Stacey. There are no decent tracks here. The nearest one is brands, and that's 5 hours away

@@thebikerguysofficial I’m starting to see and hear more bad things about GoPro. I’ve never really had an issue, now I’m tempting fate. I got the 12 a few months back. I now have an 8,10 and now 12. I was toying with the insta ace pro instead of the 12 but stayed with what I know. It can get real stupid and OTT when amassing cameras for different angles and stuff. Especially when trying to sequence scenes for edit 😩😩😩lol

@@thebikerguysofficial tell Me about it lol. I had the insta360 one rs. Great camera and good 360 footage but I found editing it and then editing it into MP4 was a right royal pain so sold it. Editing REALLY isn’t my forte nor do I enjoy it lol.

Hi buddy that’s a difficult one, the Gen 2 I have never ridden it would be good for a test ride on the Gen 4 and see if you like the difference, as there were a lot of changes between the 2 and 3 and then they have improved it again for the 4. I have a service due on my 3 so will try and get a ride on a gen 4 when it’s in and do a little compare 🏍️💨💨 how have you got on with your Gen2 as it ticked the boxes for you 🏍️💨💨👍🏻 any issues or all good 👍🏻 thanks for the comment 👍🏻and ride safe buddy 🏍️💨💨💨

I couldn’t believe it I thought I’ve only just collected it from the garage what could have gone wrong from dropping it off and picking it up and I remembered dave had cleaned and lubed the chain befor we took it to the garage. I’d obviously picked up some dirt/grit on route so I got the jet wash out and blasted about 3 inches of muck from the underside. I think the previous owners took it down some green lanes 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s all sparkling now and I’ve not had anymore issues 🤞🏻can’t wait for the adventures to begin 😊 thanks for the comment 😇🏍️💨

@@thebikerguysofficial I did have issues with sdr at start, bought from main dealer and brakes were warped, went back with my tiny 1 month warranty asked them to look at them and they said nothing wrong here, come mot time same place oh you got warped discs we will have to sell you a nice set of galfers, wont mention who the dealer was but that was my only problem

Hey Robbie yes we did think the CBR125 would need a little work so was expecting that , and we need it all OK for Stacey 🏍️💨💨👍🏻 the 360 takes a bit of getting use to , and I’m hoping that the editing gets a little easier the more I use it , but this is me so probably not 🤦‍♂️🤣🤣 I am happy with the picture and stabilisation on it though looks crisp 👍🏻👍🏻 have you got any plans this year mate, any trips out or touring 🏍️💨💨💨

@erguysofficial It was my second time, I did North Anti Clockwise in '22, (and the monsoon of Glen Coe has gone down in folk law in Iron Butt circles), clockwise in '23, and will probably do anti clockwise this year. It's kind of addictive once you've done one isn't it!

I was shocked at the state of mine when I removed it 😬👎🏻 no cleaning would have sorted it for me I don’t think. Mine went very quickly so just swapped it for the uprated Oberon had no issues since 🤞🏻🤞🏻 must be a problem Iv had a few people say the same thing . At least you have a spare in case it happens again 👍🏻 is yours the Gen 3 ? Other than the cylinder any other issues buddy ? 🏍️💨💨💨

Thanks very much appreciate the comment 👍🏻 I would say your wife might be happier on the Adventure S as it’s more pillion friendly , Stacey has been on the back of the SuperDuke but only for short trips of say 60-100 miles but it’s probably not for every pillion (or a happy marriage)🤣🤣 Adventure S I have never ridden but it’s massive in the flesh (possibly too big for me) more comfortable for the pillion 👍🏻 the GT is a good bike and something between the 2 , I did ride one and was impressed 👍🏻🏍️💨💨💨 spoilt for choice 🤣 try and sit on one at least , especially with your wife and see how she feels some people like being high up as they can see better 🏍️💨💨 good luck with your choice and ride safe out there 👍🏻👍🏻

@@thebikerguysofficial Thanks man! We both got on the Super Duke, the Super Adventure and Super GT! Obviously she likes thge Adventure a lot more, the Super Duke would be more of a my-toy. The KTM sales guy himself said that he just got the Adventure for versatility, it has all the GO of the Duke but added offroad + comfort. In an ideal world I to get both, then the doubt right is which one to get first 😆 Thanks again!!

Great bike the R1 👍🏻My heart loves sports bikes but my knees tell me otherwise 🤦‍♂️🤣 I would highly recommend trying one first if you can , I found it a great alternative and has ticked the boxes for me , very comfortable, good performance with character and fun to ride 🏍️💨💨 obviously that is just my opinion in the review and everyone is different but I am very pleased with choosing the SuperDuke 👍🏻🏍️💨💨 thanks for the comment ,good luck , ride safe and have fun 🏍️💨💨💨

That’s great that you both have the SuperDuke and have gone again for another pair 🏍️🏍️💨💨 did you both do a fair few miles on your original 2 ? I also found the quickshifter a little snatchy at low gears 1st to 2nd ,2nd to 3rd when revving through so use the clutch for a smoother change 👍🏻 I’m loving mine and don’t think I will be changing it for another year at least 🏍️💨 although will try and take a 1390 out this year if I can,just to see what the difference is (and if it’s noticeable). Glad you both are enjoying your SuperDuke’s . Have you had to change your tyres yet ? Mine are due a change and have Michelin Power 5 on,that were put on by the previous owner, just wondered what you think of the S22’s that come as standard ? I think the SD will be top of my list when I go for my next bike. If you ever come back up to Scotland again. Give me a shout. I'll show you some of the best roads on the planet. And you don't have to go much farther north than loch Lomond.

@@thebikerguysofficialI'm new to biking myself. I've only had my license since April last year. The 890 was my first bike. And I'm glad I chose it. I think if I went for something smaller I'd have been bored by now. Although I did stick it in rain mode for the first few months 😂😂. But it's been a great first bike. I'll probably keep it another year before I trade it in for something bigger. Possibly a Super Duke or super Duke GT. Or maybe something completely different 😂😂 there are so many nice bikes out there 😂😂

@@thebikerguysofficial yep definitely roll on the spring, counting the days too The sdr is a great bike to do it on as well, I’m on my 2nd now 😁 How you kept control going through Glenco I don’t know 🤣 I always seem to be in triple figures on that road 🤣 Yes seen your mrs has passed as well, a lot like us, my mrs took her test in 2015, and she’s never looked back, we’ve toured Europe together,isle of man, nearly all of the uk, and Scotland umpteen times , riding together has been brilliant, you’ve lots of adventures coming your way , hopefully see you in passing this year , rude safe to you both 👍🏼👌🏍💨

Im just about to buy my first bike being a msx125, spent around £500 for the entire gear because I mean better to be safe than sorry right? Never understood people that risk it, bikes are meant to be tamed not played with

I've just returned to biking after a 13 years without a bike, I travelled 100 miles on the train to go and pick up a new bike I purchased. First time I had ridden in over 13 years and within 10 minutes those 13 years just vanished, it was hello daddies home. A got myself a CBR1100XX Super Blackbird and through summer and autumn 2023 she has given me so much joy touring Wales.
