The Boys Brigade is a Christian organisation founded in 1883.
The Boys Brigade hymn is Will Your Anchor Hold and talks about Jesus being the anchor through the storms of life. Without an anchor a boat is tossed around on the sea but with an anchor there is stability and safety. For those who trust in Jesus, he holds us 'safe and steadfast' through the ups and downs of life.
My Grandad became a Christian through Boys Brigade and went on to start branches at Christ Church Bromley and the URC in Hassocks.
I hope you enjoy my version of this hymn, that was sung at his memorial service 2 years ago and is a family favourite.
