It’s looking awesome with the original body. The dry lube is awesome I have some I used in cycling that is good Finishline but any place like Lowes probably has some that’s inexpensive. The Proline 66 Chevy Body will fit that chassis but I believe you have to shorten the wheelbase by moving the links I had did it to mine but eventually used the Body for something different & left my Original Gen8 body on it. The Gen 8 never gets old & they always look good especially out on the trails. And it’s an awesome trail rig. 👍

I was wrong on the metal beadlocks on the spider. It's the cross rc that comes with them.

So im guessing transmission gears are plastic or aluminum if they stripped out. And as far as it self reversing i wouldnt use servos that get thst hot. Also take a look a the winch switchboard. Make sure its not heating up.

Looks like someone also swapped your steering axle end to end, I have a grando and broke the steering servo the first real trail I did. The oe servo did not twitch but the Amazon special I put on does, so I just ordered a different one, but otherwise the truck works flawlessly

They absolutely have amazing customer service i bought off Amazon and remote came broken. Amazon wouldnt help amd the company sent me an entire truck again best customer service

You don’t want the foams to flatten on the side walls. If they do you’ll get tire roll and zero side hilling ability. I print my inserts to be very stiff on the side walls but flexible on the tread side. A better test is to put the center ring in the foam then see how they squish or conform on the tread side. I run the Baja Pros and I’m interested in how well the knock offs compare. I’ll be watching for a running video.

Picked up a second one a week ago, first one I've had for about a year no issues, second one no issues yet, only modifications are hub extensions, 2.2 beadlocks and 2.2 tires, chopped the body and turned it into a truck, the battery it comes with sucks, you can run them on a 2s 5200mah lipo no issues, the truck preforms much better with a lipo

Hello, I have the same Cage but I lost my locknut that connects the shocks to the cage. Do you know what size are those? I tried going to our local hobby shop and they dont know what size. thanks

The spacers on your shock bolts are too fat. Use a skinnier spacer and instead of using the tiny nuts to hold those bolts use the cross member tube. If you want it to sit lower modify some 48mm shocks. Cut a third of the spring off. This will drop ride height by however much you cut off. The total amount of travel will be the same. I also dont use the tower mounts. Instead i use the holes that are in line with the frame rails to mount my shocks.
