Atlanta Street Tour: Piedmont Avenue [ENTIRE ROUTE] | Downtown to Buckhead
This video follows one of Atlanta's major streets through its core -- Piedmont Avenue -- from the Summerhill neighborhood near Georgia State University and the Georgia State Capitol up to Roswell Road in Buckhead. Along the way, we will pass by or near the Georgia State Capitol, Georgia State University, Piedmont Park, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, as well as some mixed-use developments in Buckhead.
Piedmont Avenue/Road can become quite congested due to the many traffic lights that are placed closely together, with some of them not all being timed simultaneously. I filmed this on a Sunday evening which would explain the lack of traffic. I hope you all enjoy the ride and sounds of the city!

It was a lot more strenuous than usual and I have a lot of kinks to work out as far as how I want these 4K videos to be presented. Panola road bridge over interstate 20 needs to be replaced.
@@jonnybrussat3965 i completely agree. a lot of the stretch of I-20 from I-285 on the eastside to Conyers needs to be upgraded. hopefully some work will be done eventually, but only time will tell.

As a native Tennessean, I thought you might like to know that the word "Tennessee" means "orange barrel in road."
@@ScottGrammer LOL!! that’s a good one haha. are there any other construction headaches around the state that i should be aware of?
@@camexplores The trick is to find a road that ISN'T under construction. And the TDOT has a habit of beginning a project, blocking off a lane or two with a thousand orange barrels, and then moving on to another project, for say, five years. Not kidding.

I made videos back in 2022 here in Atlanta I came to visit here in July September November and December but I went to Panama City FL in August 2022
If you ever visit Alabama got to Hoover because I live here and I want you to make a street tour of my home town

no, i use a suction cup mount that goes on my windshield. it wasn’t properly secured so that’s why you saw the hood of my car in some spots whenever i hit a bump
