Once again, there will be a lot of drivers you won't see in F1 next year, Ocon, Bottas, Zhou, Ricciardo, are easily 4 dudes I see not getting a seat,also HAAS has to keep it's AMERICAN SPONSORSHIPS happy, I see them taking Sargent or another American driver.

Alpine would be a downgrade, Yuki should stay with RB and just outscore their teammate, eventually he'll get that spot and an actual shot at glory.
Why in the hell would Yuki want to go to a sinking ship? Honestly, at this point, I'd go to Williams before I consider Alpine if I was an F1 driver. Alpine has been an absolute shitshow lately with all the staff changes, right now I wouldn't want any driver to join them.

What sort of nonsense is this lol? Tsunoda isn't happening at Alpine unless Mick Schumacher and Jack Doohan have a massive falling out with the team. Tsunoda is stuck at RB until he retires, he's Gasly 2.0 without the short run at Red Bull

Alpine have improved rapidly but he knows that he plans not to stay there for long. He wants to go to Aston in 2026 if he can, 2027 more likely which if the Aston is bad, Fernando will probably retire so he can slot in along Stroll

Would be a good move. The pressure of Marko is gone and it's quit clear that he won't drive for RB anyways.

Exactly, the problem is right now. Normally Alpine as a works team should be ahead of a sister team like RB, which they pretty much have been since Renault took over. Where Alpine currently stands is not where they are expected to be. So chances are real that Alpine have moved up in the ranking by the time Tsunoda joins the team, which would make this move an upgrade for him.
Doubt you would want to go to alpine after their current form. But idk, they could come back to the middle of grid
Imo, Alpine have more upwards potential than RB. They have their own engine supplier etc. Alpine could be a top team if they got a engine.
@gameofender4463 meant yuki* but yeah true about engine, but heard their having weight problems. After all they did get 2 podiums last, so they could turn it around like mclaren did last year.
@@Val_Nikon Don’t forget the new regulations in 2026. That could really benefit Alpine. And while I don’t see either Tsunoda or Gasly as WDC, at least not yet. It could hypothetically lay the groundwork for a more elite driver to lead the team in future with an even better car.

Can't you place the Nouvelle chicane further back like in 1972 (I think?) Then maybe you can even use DRS after the kink as the braking zone won't be on the bumps anymore.
Problem 1. If drivers manage their tires, they are able to run quadruple the expected distance on "medium" rubber. Problem 2. The track is too tight and even half hearted defensive driving makes it impossible to overtake if you do push on your tires. Problem 3. In an era of cars where they're almost designed to dump dirty air off the back of them and are 10% bigger than any previous car. Overtaking or even getting a run becomes impossible. Solution (while keeping Monaco) mandatory extra soft tires designed to ACTUALLY fall off. Shorter cars because refueling is reimplemented.
Agreed about that corner. They should also go around the Portier roundabout before the tunnel; going left after the hairpin, go around the roundabout in a counter-clockwise move and the straight into the tunnel is a bit longer.
There is a roundabout before the tunnel. Make the cars turn left there and follow the roundabout thereby extending the straight into the tunnel.
I insist the cars need to shrink and get lighter.

the problem is the chicane after the tunnel, get rid of it, and you get an almost 1km long straight with DRS and a sharp turn left, perfect overtaking opportunities.

I have a solution for the redflag pitstop: change the rule to allow the teams only to replace the same compound tyre in a redflag condition. Once the race resumes the original rule of min 2 different compounds still need to be complied by the teams. Problem solved.
The best solution for Monaco in my opinion (nobody has to agree with me) is to remove it completely from the calendar. Monaco has become nothing but a tourist attraction than a race. It frustrates me to see such a crappy circuit is still on the calendar while tracks like Malaysia, Istanbul, Kyalami, Hockenheim, Nurturing GP layout , Fuji, Jerez are laying on the sidelines.
Should be the one race of the year where the drivers are in equal cars… Caterhams! That would be much more fun to watch.
