Love the needle. Have a Tony Setzko he was selling at shows. But my fav is the Habb’s. Still have 2. Afraid to throw them. But made a serviceable copy. The sound of a conventional reel unloading with a needle just screams Bass in the dark.

Just list'em. Do find some lures you made, made more artistic sense and less match the hatch sense? I find myself always using white, black, and yellow.

The plastic needles are made by spofford . The company was sold and currently not made any more I grabbed a bunch of them at Coops on the vineyard

Curious why you wanted to phase out your roscos? Have you had failures? What size are they? I was using the spros rated 370#. 1/0 i think. But i have tons of those Roscos to use up..
I have had a few fail through the years, if there is a better product I'm up grading, I'm using mine up and going spro and krok,

I know that you’ve built more plugs than most people have had hot breakfasts so I’m not even remotely questioning your better judgment. All I can contribute is to say when I started out I used Rosco barrel swivels for the plugs I built, but after several failures where the swivel was ripped from the plug body, I have since only use Spro or Krok swivels and in the following 14 years haven’t experienced a failure since. They definitely tax the wallet more, so there’s that. I’m also sure your plugs see a fair bit more “stress” than the average fisherman who couldn’t catch a cold bare assed in a blizzard so perhaps that’s just the price you pay for constantly catching!
