As someone who enjoys DIY projects and home repairs, I have learned the importance of regularly changing out my drill bits. I have found that it is essential to replace my smaller drill bit as soon as I sense or feel it becoming dull. This not only ensures that my projects are completed efficiently but also protects the integrity of the materials I am drilling into. For tougher materials, I always reach for my Dwelt bits as they are reliable and durable. However, there are times when I feel particularly lazy and do not want to constantly change out bits. In these situations, a diamond bit has been my go-to as it can withstand more wear and tear compared to traditional bits. Overall, being mindful of my drill bit's condition has greatly improved the quality of my work and saved me time and frustration in the long run.

KING Canada sells drill presses on Amazon for ~$60USD (80 in CAD), and they're a good option for general work, but have a solid enough chuck that you can comfortably seat smaller bits with a long tang. A cheap vice, some polymer guards, and a cloth will protect your piece while you bore out those standoff points - just make sure you use lube. Even old motor oil will work in a pinch :) Alternatively, you can just buy the vice if you'd rather not have a drill press stuck to your bench (they're not heavy, but for stability it's really better to bolt them down). Same idea applies, but I would still throw in some lube to make less work for the bit 👍

Hey! Are you using any retarder or something with your paint to be able to use such a fine point brush and still get nice paint flow/control onto the model without it drying within a couple of strokes? Ive got the hand control nailed down but i think its the humidity drying up the paint by the time i get a decent area in.
