Guessed which one with little difficulty. Hasselblad files are usually pretty obvious - but you are correct that it has nothing to do with whether the image is worth looking at. The camera will never make talent and practice redundant.

I went from my a7rV to Fuji, tried a few, I back to my a7rV. Yes it’s a bit ‘sterile’ but it’s also suuuuuch an amazing tool. It just performs so well and lets me capture so much more, plus the editing can be quite nice too, lets me be more artistic there

I think what's interesting about this video, and the images that were shown... For both cameras, and based on how you edit your photos, the average viewer would not be able to tell the difference between the images. They wouldn't be able to pick out what you shot on what camera. And then that brings in to question...are all the cameras and lenses we buy, overkill in a sense...because what's done to the image in post, is going to look all the same anyway ?! It's kinda like when people shoot videos and then throw on Cineprint 16 or Cineprint 35.. No matter what they shot it on, no matter the camera, it all looks the same.. I'm sure if you shot on an X-T30 and a Sony A7MK1... I probably wouldn't be able to tell that they weren't the X-T5 or the A7RV..

Interesting review. However your statement “With this 90mm lens you are getting the field of view of a 70mm lens …” is correct, but your follow-up statement “but you are retaining the compression of a 90mm lens” is not true, because with a 70mm lens on a full frame you will have the same distance to your subject as with the medium format and 90mm lens and therefore have the same compression (or perspective).

Good luck with your autofocus, you`re gonna need it. You`ll find out that this is quite a downgrade.

As a beginner not having a reliable camera like the Autofocus problem Fuji have with all their lineup, frustrates me. Im so glad sony came out with a A6700 and A7Cii that has best in class autofocussing that really helps me get going. Maybe one day i will get back to Fuji but its definitely not now.

Also the notion of an “everyday cary” is so overblown, like yeah you can carry it around all day, but… why? Just buy a pancake lense and forget about it

I picked the Hasselblad pic instantly and my YoutTube app was on picture-in-picture mode at that moment.

Those who complain or against the switch to Fuji from brands like Sony or Canon are usually the ones that are less creative. Those that are too technical and are usually shooting brick walls or birds. They don’t see the value of Fuji. Don’t get me wrong - I also used top of the line bodies of Canon and Sony - but I always gravitate back to Fuji. Yep, not the best AF but it can still do the job. Have we became so spoiled that we can’t do our jobs and shoots without having insane AF? Using Fuji made me more one with my equipment. I know its quirks and the limitations too. But whenever I use Fuji, it makes me more creative. Yeah I know it’s not tangible but it really does. And that’s when I get better output with my work.
