Rethread charm stuck on Pandora bracelet from home.
Pandora charm stuck on your bracelet?
You can take it to a Pandora store where they will take it in and send it away to be repaired (at a cost).
Or you can do it yourself at home.
In this video I will show you how to do this using a sharp object like a craft knife or stanley blade.
Please like, share and comment below if this helped you. The more of the above applied to this video will make CZcams show this video to a wider audience which in turn means more people will get to see how to do this at home (Saving themselves time and money).

      @@robimccaffrey1490 you just need a sharp knife or even the blade from a pencil sharpener. Gently peel thin layers of the silver away around the hole. Do not try to take too much off in one go as this will be more difficult and dangerous with the blade slipping

    Is there a "bradle" type implement we could get to safely, roundly and evenly rebore our charms ?

    • @frankhuntlondon3407
      @frankhuntlondon3407 Před 5 lety

      If the bradle had a flat edge to it. Silver is a soft metal so you just need to scrap the surface to remove a very thin layer. A sharp pointed kitchen knife would also do the job. Just be careful. No need to go too deep as the blade would struggle, resulting in more pressure required and the likelihood of slipping and possibly cutting yourself

    Thank you so much! I've had a charm stuck on my Pandora for about 1.5 years !! Can you explain why the holes in the charms get smaller in that manner? and how can we prevent this from happening in future?

    • @frankhuntlondon3407
      @frankhuntlondon3407 Před 7 lety

      jenn311 Yes of course I can. Silver is a pretty soft metal in general. When the are swinging along your bracelet or bangle as you are wearing it. The charms hit each other. As a result the are hammering against the hole wall. The silver spreads and closes the hole. How to stop this from happening. I guess the spacers you can buy may help a little.

    While I'm not a huge fan of the retheme, I find a bit annoying that people dislike videos of it when it's the ride they don't like, not the recording. Edit: Oh wait, bad example. It kinda fails at the end :/ (but the same happens on other videos which are of good quality)
