I also will be allowed INSIDE Abbey Road Studios to see Studio II along with the the Lady Madonna piano and recording gear they used. I remember when this started back in 2008 and I love that it’s gotten to be such a big and wonderful event. I got a peace and love white wristband from one of the early events from my uncle who worked at the company that made them. I’ve been a fan since i was about 15 also…but for me that was in 1999. I wish I had figured out a way to do what you do. Social Media was message boards (rec.music.beatles anyone?) back then … and MySpace soon after. It was so different. I’ve never gotten to meet a Beatle but I’ve been close and have had some amazing experiences. Wishing you the best of luck with everything and I hope you get to meet Paul someday too! I love how Ringo was with you. He can tell a true fan when he sees one. That’s one thing about all of them. They are amazing to their fans and can tell the difference between a true fan and someone taking advantage of them extremely quickly. They know. And they act accordingly.

Dreams absolutely can come true and you should always meet your heroes!!! Love hearing your story Skylar, so many similarities to how we felt, the excitement, the not knowing if you were going to even be able to speak and the thoughts of "should have done or said..." but it was totally perfect and amazing!! It was a good interview and great video. I am glad you were able to see Ringo in person "face to face" ..chance of a life time. I saw Paul in 76, and 89-90, and Ringo's vertical man tour. It is always special to see your favorite artist. Sad I never got to see John or George. You are very lucky and get a hug to boot. Peace & Love

Though I have only ever seen Paul live (I went to the Melbourne Got Back show for my birthday last year, which was also my first concert ever), I kind of know how it would feel to see Ringo perform all of these songs live too. When I first fell fully in love with The Beatles, I found a concert movie on Amazon Prime Video for the David Lynch Foundation performance that Ringo (I think Paul was there too) in 2013. I watched that and was basically mesmerised by the way that Ringo was performing. Him playing Yellow Submarine, With A Little Help From My Friends and It Don't Come Easy was so magical. Since then, I have watched so so many Ringo concert performances and I still want to go see him so bad. I am glad you not only saw Ringo perform twice so far, but you also got a fucking hug from the legend. Don't ever downplay that because that could have been anyone, but it was fate that it was you. I have met my guitar heroes and spoke again with one just yesterday! One has shared stages with hundreds of number one selling artists the past 6 decades. At 72, I cannot ask for much more❤. I live some thousands of miles away. You never know how life will turn out. Now in poor health, most likely will not see them ever again. I am so grateful for my dreams coming true. I got a bunch pf guitars autographed over the years, soon going to my grandchildren. Good on you!!!
