Here's what I think happened. The Avengers unwittingly/accidentally/unknowingly got May killed. This creates a deep anger in Peter, but when Venom possesses him, he stops hiding it. Infinity war never happened, as Loki is alive.

I can also relate to this song a lot. I had a birth friend (she was born around the same day and year I was born) that me and my sister loved like she was our sister. I’ll call her “I”. We were there for her in Elementary school and hung out all the time...until Middle School. I made some friends in 6th grade and showed "I" to them. In 7th grade however, they started excluding me from conversations and would never notice I was even talking to them. When I started getting severely bullied and was very sad, "I" never helped me. None of them ever helped me. "I" began to hang out with my sister without asking if I wanted to come, too. This broke me. I felt lonely and worthless. I developed anxiety and would have anxiety attacks a lot over little things. I even had a panic attack. I tried to get the counselor and my choir teacher involved to stop the bullying. They said "okay, I’ll deal with this"....they never did. One day when I was home alone, I almost cut myself. So many things were stressing me out and I wanted them to end. When I was about to, my mind showed me images. They were of my family, my best friends who were at different schools then me, and my two school friend in my LA class. I put the knife down and cried myself to sleep that night, realizing what I could’ve done to my family and friends. I told this to my best friends and they comforted me and told me that they felt the same. The bullying continued for the rest of the year and I finally decided to end my friendship with "I". I deleted her phone number. She still hangs out with my sister so, I do see her some times but, I just walk away. I used to think it’s my fault for how our friendship turned out but, now I don’t think that. If you’ve took time to read this, thank you and don’t let people like "I" be in your life. If friends don’t help you when you’re down, then they shouldn’t be called friends. Stay safe! ❤️
