This is painful to hear and receive looking back at the years that have been lost being captive and yet so liberating to know what is wrong with you. Then while being met with those feelings there is now regret of not receiving Christ sooner. You question God asking; "Where were You God?" then you He makes you remember all the times He lent out his hand and you rejected Him. He has been merciful to pursue you even after your rejections and you should be grateful that you finally found Him and He finally has you. But then it's easier to blame than to take any responsibility so it's the falling right back into those negative thoughts because they're familiar and "feel safer" than the unknown. The reality is heavy and waiting for change is long: you contemplate suicide. Then there is the reality that you cannot hide from God, nor your reality; He lives in eternity and judgement awaits you without redemption there- so your life even though a mess is a great mercy. The only option is seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Then there is the breaking in surrender and tarrying in prayer for change. You realise then why "The Great Commission" you have come to know there is a hand that could save and that saved/is saving you while others perish and seek in dark places still with truth unveiled to them. So I wait in faith: He is a faithful God. Change my mind and heart Lord. I need You. Thank you for this message.

Im so overwhelmed reading the book of proverbs yesterday and calculating 10% of the day, to 2hrs 40 minutes, and dismissing it because I’ve never heard anyone preach it, then he says it😢. How awesome is the holy spirit. The kingdom of God is such a treasure 🥰
