Hey mate. Not sure of the part number. The bars are official HD bars tho. For me I managed to get a garage to fit them but they did it as a favour for me in between their normal jobs. I bought the bars used from a HD employee but I had to buy the cables etc separately. So tbh I’m not sure of what the cost would’ve been. The clutch cable would need to be longer but of course with the newer bikes it comes in two half’s so you only need the upper section. The throttle cable needs to be longer etc. as well as the indicators etch etc. It was done so long ago that I can’t remember what I paid for it all I’m sorry to say. To be honest the riding position is great but these bars don’t look the best imo. I would prefer slightly wider bars at the top but I’m keeping these for now. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.

Yep easy done and easy to get caught under it. So far I haven’t done it since lol.

The stages are marketed by HD yes but they do alter the mechanics and therefore power/torque etc. So……not sure what your point is ?

@@robpullen my point is stages are not what people use when describing what’s been done to their bike. A Stage 2 can be 95 hp /105ft lb or 125 hp and 125 ft lb. That’s all I meant.

@@freebehindbars8654 ah ok. I think I agree. But the point of engine work is surely to improve the power or torque etc etc of the engine so improved numbers against before the work was done.

Yeah it’s so easy to do. Especially when the ground is uneven. Combine that with the fact I’m a shorty and I’m surprised I haven’t dropped it more time lol. This is an old clip so I’ve been ok for a few years now lol. Thank you mate.

Is your's a Fatboy? It looks like the back fender is different from mine. Maybe a break out? Hard to tell but looks like you have an M8 too? Good looking bike though for sure.

@@goatandyourmom9690 it’s a Softail Slim. Yes it’s an M8. Yeah it’s a nice looking bike. But it’s also one of the lowest so suits me as I’m a sawn off. Still can’t flat foot it properly lol hence why I dropped it pmsl.

The only way to get them comfortable for you is to have them on the bike. The issue I had with these apes is the look. I don’t like them lined up with the forks but pushed forward a bit. So bear that in mind when positioning your levers etc. but it’s an easy adjustment anyway. Also due to the leverage because of the higher bars you may also find that you need to tighten them up again and again. I would recommend getting someone who’s fitted the cables to your bars before unless you’re really confident. The CZcams videos make it look very easy. When I tried to do it myself I ended up getting one of the cables wedged and damaged it getting it through lol. Took me ages then to get new cables etc delivered. I was off the bike for weeks !! Yes these bars are comfortable even at motorway speeds. Let’s face it there ain’t any wind protection on these Slims as stock but with these bars there’s less buffeting than the stock bars as you’re not as exposed like a parachute, you’re more fists up to and thru the wind.

Hey. It’s the Vance and Hines big radius. TBH I wanted something different as these tend to be on loads of slims and I wanted something a bit different to everybody else. Also they can scrape when leaning over. I don’t really ride hard and even I scrape now and again.
