Hi, welcome to my channel. My name is Andrew; I'm a MoCap performer and a voice actor. On top of that, I'm an old-school gamer with a penchant for retro titles. Hopefully, if time permits; I'll upload some interesting gaming content here.

Long story short; my whole family has been affected by the atrocities of WWII. My great grandfather was a prisoner of a concentration camp. My uncle was a Holocaust survivor who lost his mother at the age of 14, during a Nazi raid. As I got older (and maybe slightly wiser) I started to cherish the memories of their ordeals. While trying to keep their stories alive, I look to the present and can never forget about the real life heroes who dedicate their lives to make sure the history will not repeat itself. This video is my small contribution and a tribute the Veterans; to the men and women of US Armed Forces; those in active duty, as well as those who have paid the ultimate price. Thank you for your service!
Tried playing this again a few months ago after years away from it. I had become so accustomed to switching aim shoulders in other third-person shooters that blacklist was basically unplayable for me. I always wondered why I struggled with running whole embassy seige missions before, and then I instantly realized why.
Hey, I can relate, had something a bit similar with Far Cry 3's lack of crosshair when in LT mode. The 'Assault' style of gameplay in Blacklist is not for me. I mostly try to ghost the levels with some occasional panther-ing when I'm capturing the footage.
@AnxMa Panther and ghost are peak blacklist for sure. The embassy sieges basically being horde from gears always appealed to me, and the game pretty much forces assault play on you after the mid waves. With such a large arsenal available assault really let's you give them all a try and lots of them can't run suppressors.
@@redonculous1995 I was thinking the same thing about these embassy dead drop side ops. The knock out gadgets are great initially but after the 5th extraction wave it's getting so tough.

Hi, thanks for watching. You're right about the catchy title, but it also refers the stylish takedowns that are similar to the Wick movies. I was a big fan of the original titles, back in the day; I miss Michael Ironside's voice. And Lambert was also a great character.

Cool video. One suggestion woukd be to capture the gameplay audio directly from the game or source instead of calturing it via a microphone or however you are. Will reduce the echo. Its offputting

The fake voice isn't gonna work for you man. It doesn't sound like a natural voice that would come out of a character
Hi, yeah, you're right. I focused so much on keeping my voice 'low and cool' that I completely forgot to create a real performance.
@@AnxMa that's okay. I really would focus on doing everything you can to learn natural conversation and innotations. Have conversations with yourself or other people and test how low and high you can go while keeping it natural. Then, you build voices off that. That's how I have done it at least. Just don't try and do it extremely superficial, because like this, people can tell.. and for games using real actors like these examples they'll want something sounding more natural. The voice here could work maybe with lines for cartoons or anime, where the characters can look more.. well.. animated! Good luck man

Hi, I used an iPhone. Sometimes I cover the speaker slightly with a very thin fabric to reduce the 'PFF' sounds :)

Hey, one thing that is great about you is that you take constructive criticism really well. Because of that alone, you will go far with your goals in life. I think that your demo sounds good. I was able to hear the difference in characters. From this demo alone, It sounds like you have a good voice for narration, audiobooks, doing voice overs for movie trailers, commercials, and the main character of a video game or animated movie (Pixar, DreamWorks, Disney). people are looking for someone like you, believe me. There is a youtuber named Bill Dewees who is a voice over actor and coach. He is super helpful. He does a live every day where you can ask him questions and he will answer. Just dont give up okay... keep going forward. You got this bro!🎙😎

Hey, sorry for my late reply. Actually, after years of vocal training and... tormenting my vocal cords, this deeper voice is genuine. Because I look like a someone straight outta K POP band, it may seem unnatural. My role model has always been the late and amazing Kevin Conroy, so his voice is my goal.

The voices sound pretty much identical and they don't sound natural. Sometimes, it sounds like one of those old tv ads for horror movies I also feel like it's a shame that you didn't include your everyday voice for us to compare and help you further Mind you, I have 0 experience with voice acting but I feel like a voice is like an instrument so keep training, try a lot of different thing and I'd also recommend you to learn how to sing it can help you to better understand your voice + you'll have more control over it I wish you good luck and don't feel discouraged !
You say you have no experience but for me those remarks are very accurate and helpful. Thnx for this post, appreciate your time. About the voice being identical; that was a conscious choice I'm afraid. I needed to create very specific type; oldschool, hard boiled, noir-like character, so if it sounds like old ad for horror film, I got the job done :)) I know how to sing, although I'm not a singer but you're right about it being a very good exercise. It helped me achive the lower notes more smoothly.

Hi, yeah, I was only considered for the facial likeness of him. Maybe if I informed them about my voice acting that would've helped.
You sound the same in every role, you have to diversify each voice you do and not use the same tone over and over again
Hi, thanks for the feedback. You right. Because these characters have similar motivations; anger, desperation and pain; the real challenge was to find a way to differentiate each one.
