D&R mixer (dnr) Airmate-8 problem with all master channel outputs distorted
In this video I'm looking into a fault on a D&R (DNRbroadcast) Airmate-8 USB studio mixing desk.
This is the 8-channel unit with mix-and-match options for several of the channels (USB, VOIP, phone, etc).
However the fault is on all master outputs and distorts the audio output after the desk had been powered on for 30-40minutes.
Playing any audio through the main fader you can hear bass notes in particular being distorted. If you feed the same audio at the same level through the CUE output then the distortion goes away which suggests something in the main fader/master mix output chain.
This video is part of my diagnostics and identifying and reproducing the issue.
The mixer itself was a 2021/2022 model.
