Enjoyed the video and watched as I am a BN/BNSF fan. However, the layout was a bit too busy for me. I prefer end to end layouts with plenty of space between industries. None the less, you have a very presentable layout with lots to occupy you.

I can’t see the captions on this video with my tablet
I need to edit this video or just remove it off CZcams altogether This video was made in the CZcams era where you could actually add captions on their own video editor. They removed the ability to do so and in the process removed all of them from published videos using their software. So therefore this video really doesn’t make sense now unfortunately

Great looking car! I may have missed... Is the body of this car plastic or is it die cast? Just wondering about weight and how this car is going to track without a load. Now, if we could get somebody to make us some 1970s and 1980s era appropriate construction equipment and ag equipment I'd be crazy happy!
I should have said it was plastic. I wish at least some of the underbody was metal for a little more weight. I agree the lack of older heavy equipment for my era is a bummer

8:21, also is the time stamp where the first Amtrak train passes through the area, since all the others were Metra trains.
8:21, Amtrak F40PH NPCU #90413 (originally the #413) when purchased from GO Transit in 1990. #413 was manufactured in May 1978 by Electro-Motive Division (EMD). In the late 2000s, it was converted into a Non-Powered Control Unit (NPCU) and included removing the head end power generator and traction systems, deactivating the prime mover, removing the engine as well as installing a roll up baggage door and that’s what gave them the nickname “Cabbage” a combination of the words Cab and Baggage.

Yes I have actually painted several rails just haven’t gotten around this area yet. I need to work on filling in some of the gaps too since this was originally designed to be modular to go to train shows but now it’s in my basement permanently

Knocking around on YT and saw the 302 so I clicked on it. I Worked with the 302 a lot in Eugene back in the day, your videos feature engines of my early career, I was on the O.E. where a lot of power we had were the oddballs. Thanks for the memories!

Very good. Tight industrial trackage around a busy industry, that's my kind of railroading. I have the Magic Pan kit but no space on the layout to put it.
It’s a large footprint I wish I had a little more room so I could have added a little more employee parking spaces for Magic Pan
