It is still have some life in it... Still ok for that extra mile. Unless it has totally lost it's damping effect. I would normally change the absorber arround 7 years.

Hello. I don't suppose you have a video for the front cross member removal? Got an old IS200, and I'm trying to get the oil sump off and the cross member's in the way... Only have basic tools, no engine hoist, if you need to life the engine I mean. If you've not done it yet, or have done it but didn't video it, do you have any insight for me please. Just from looking at the underneath, can you tell me if it's possible to do this without an engine hoist? It's such a pain in the fuckin' arse how the sump is longitudinally placed right above the damn cross member. And you can't just loosen the sump and slide it over because of the oil pick up inside it... 🤨😕

Thank you for a great video, I feel confident on changing the tensioner. Currently there are some trembling noised comming from the tensioner while doing low RPM, I figured it has to be the tensioner as I also hear some belt squeling when the car is under load ( going up a ramp) thank you again
