👍👍👍
Poor Gene Vincent did a much better cover of this Auther Alexander song
Brilliant ❤️
What a song. This is my fave one
Often covered by many bands, but these girls give their own imprint.
They never made it ended up playing shitty pubs
❤❤❤❤
One of my favourite Searchers tracks with the late Tony Jackson on lead vocals I am old enough to remember when he was unceremoniously kicked out of the group by power mad Chris Curtis they never sounded the same.sad the way Tony’s life ended he deserved much better.
Love the solo in this and the tremelo.
Reminds me of my first serious girlfriend.
Sounds like genuine Merseybeat! The melody is very adequate.
Very Good Recording. On This Side Of The Pond It Was A Song That The Drifters Could Have Done Since They Were Recording In That Style Back In 1963-64.
They sound like the Beatles. Wow!
sadly no footage of the original 4 singing this shame
who wrote this?
richard hewson & gordon gray
Amazed that the song is still in my head after all these years. I must have been 6 years old when it was screened. My dad liked the programme I remember, as well as us littl’uns. I remember talking about it to friends at school. What a shame copies don’t seem to exist.
The Pathfinders first release on the Decca label (B Side)
Hello Tom, Matt here Roy’s son Hope you’re well mate 👍🏼
Ahhh my mamas name ❤
Los Hollies eran raros, en estudio sonaban muy muy bien... pero en vivo siempre sonaron superior (!)
Should have kept Tony
Harakiri!!!
Kool...
Love it early Merseyside beat sound
The Beatles! Una maquina musical!

Very driving Merseybeat sound from Manchester.
Eric chose wonderful bass lines
Looking for a hit..and should have had one
Always went to see them at the cavern, they were so much better live than on record, playing all white strats and p bass , lookin so cool in that basement , definitely my favourite group of the day
Issued in 1964 in the US on Mercury Records at the height of the British Invasion on the album "Live At The Star Club." The concert was already nearly two years old when the American audiences first heard it.
This needs AI re-release
His brother was my uncle Leo Crummy
Me encantó, dónde está la versión de los Beatles ?? 😢😢😢 Porfavor
Great song
Wowe, Macca producing for the Fourmost in 1969! The music hall feel is very Macca. The only other version of this tune I've heard is Bob Wills & The Texas Playboys doing it in the 30s

These guys were playing in Liverpool and Hamburg when the Beatles were getting started. They play many of the same venues.
Better than the Beatles at this point. That’s how good these guys were
Unbelievable sounding bass! Oh those vocals ❤
What a picture of them and great music in the early days.
I share the opinion of most music fans that Pete Best is not as good a drummer as Ringo. However, this song, and Pete's drumming on it, is certainly no worse than second-tier British bands like Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, the searchers, the Merseybeats, etc. There's no reason why Pete and his crew couldn't have shared somewhat in the Liverpool madness of 1964. Any comments?
This sounds like it BELONGS on Live At The BBC vol1, side 1, but alas, they never did perform it there. :(
👍👍👍👍👍
Me gusta micho
My great uncle was the drummer in kingsize Taylor and the dominoes his name was Brian Redman (Noddy) who sadly past away today at the age of 82 RIP Uncle Brian Noddy Redman
