Another thing, pretty sure you don't know the girls next door/girls next level, but they were hugh Hefner's girlfriends who had a tv show girls next door. Now they do reaction shows on girls next level. They watch the show and then do a podcast where they talk about each episode. It is a framework for what you can do. Just an fyi.

I have watched a lot of his content over the years and was excited to see he went to slab city. When I first left the slabs in 2013 I watched everything looking to see a cast of characters that I fell in love with while there. I don't mention their names unless they are public. Back in 2012 there was really no one making videos and people respected each others primacy. My videos are private and tell a story of a different time. Maybe one day they will be part of a book. Had to come back and re-watch this because I missed the last half hour (had to head out to catch a bus right when you started talking about not relying on trains to get you anywhere on schedule so nice timing!) and I could listen to you talk about trains for days. I remember that first live when you talked about your accident and it's clear how far you've come since then, seems much less stressful for you to talk about it now. For such a serious topic this was a pretty light-hearted stream. You had me cackle-laughing around the 13:25 mark 🤣 That backpatch looks like cross stitch- if so, that's a lot of hours someone put into it and I can't think of a better way to display it.

I don't think there's any need to defend having had dreads as a white person, or to be against those who have dreads that are white. Homosapiens of all skin tones had dreads for hundreds of thousands of years before the inventory of brushes, combs, scissors. The whitest person with the straightest cleanest hair gets bedhead. Dreads are simply bedhead multiplied by days, weeks, months, years. Everyone's hair mats up if left unkempt. It isn't a cultural appropriation. That would be like saying if you're white and you have a tan you're appropriating darker skinned individuals. It literally just happens to everyone who doesn't comb or brush their hair over time. Salon dreads on the other hand, now that's corny. The entire concept of why many cultures actually choose to let their hair dread is to shed vanity. One suffers the dread, it's even intertwined in the name dread. It isn't something you should have done one afternoon in a salon because you think it's cute, that's still not appropriation but it's definitely lame.

I'm pretty sure I've had a video or two of yours suggested on my home page before, but this is the first time I've watched a video, and had previously not known of your adventures. I have to say though, I absolutely love everything about it! 😊 When I was a teenager, I wanted to go live (at least for a little while) in the Slabs, but life has a way of putting us in other spots sometimes. That's cause you're not a diabetic cause then they won't give you 1 every year instead of every 5 to 7 yrs . I haves so many issues that my issue has issues !

It wouldn't do any good for me to give you advice about where to go to cause I'm on the east coast & they are on the west coast! & I have stopped going to the "specialist now but they cant do the same thing as I can ! But I also don't do the things that Corn can ! I Was in my WHEELCHAIR for a long time and now I can walk for a little while but then I haves to stop walking !

Unfortunately Corn's problem is a lot different than mine is ! I Hopes you can get the right parts that you needs ! I'M super mad about the way that they are treating you ! If you were a diabetic then they would bend over backwards for you !? It really sucks that people who don't haves diabetes! UNFORT. Corn has it. worse Than I haves it

I also hates that the prosthetics place doesn't carry my size shoes & my feet really swim in a size 5 cause my feet are much smaller than that & after looking for atleast a size 3W in kids shoes ! My feet are even smaller than that but atleast my feet aren't swimming in them as bad ! & I'm not spending $180. For a pair of shoes ! I now gets shoes from FILA sneakers now ! They aren't special shoes but I can use them !

I haves issues cause I'm not a diabetic but I have had all of my toes amputated and I needs special shoes but if I go for the special shoes & they costs around $180.00 but the state says if I WAS a diabetic then they would pay for shoes every month but because I'm not a diabetic they will only give me a pair of shoes every 5 yrs. & that sucks because I'm still walking & shoes doesn't lasts 5 yrs ! & I always gets , Omg what happened to you, are you diabetic? No, I'm not a diabetic, I was misdiagnosed by a Dr. And then they dont knows what to say after that!? & then I don't know what to tells them

So sorry that happened to you. Here on the rez my friend is diabetic. Every time she gets out of her wheelchair and uses her prosthetic she gets a blister then an infection and they cut out more of her leg. Has to be bedridden with a wound vac. Thank you so much for the information. Educating people is so important. She is on dialysis and needs to lose weight to get on the transplant list. Again I am so sorry they did this to you.

I get the exact same question. I know that routine. I understand that military people gravitate to military people with camaraderie and that’s part of what it is when they see a disabled person or somebody with tactical gear or something that might catch their eye. it can be a awkward situation for somebody. That’s never been in the military and was disabled by the military before birth to get that line of questioning, but that’s my experience with it all. ❤
