Sweeping edge is NOT optional. It is very important for any sort of xp farm or raid farm. A maxed out netherite sword missing sweeping edge is worse for farming than an iron sword with just sweeping edge and mending. Don't skip it, get a villager that sells it

Honestly… being able to find diamonds while caving is a godsend. I hated mining for diamonds pre the y<0 update. Now whenever I mine at the right height and I hear mobs I just dig out of the stripmine and explore. Almost always results in a diamond vein anyway.

The only thing you should have ever seen say too expensive is a sword. Its the only item that takes enough enchants. The only trick is to enchant the sword randomly at an altar and get 2 of the enchants your going for. Then add the rest of the max lvl clean enchants from books. Should leave you able to rename the sword twice.
