I had a severe case of Covid 2 1/2 years ago, while living in Kenya. Instead of admitting me to ICU, the doctor would come to my home 2x a day. My husband became my primary care giver. I could not even move, or turn myself over. I couldn't sit up, walk or anything for 2 weeks. He fed me and took care of all my needs. The doctor would call several times a day in between his visits and ask if I will still alive. On Friday nights a local band would perform live at a open air restaurant only a few yards from our apartment. I could hear them sing this song, while I was almost completely physically incapacitated. This song gave me strength to take one more breathe, one more night, one more straw fed meal.. etc etc until I was able to sit up and somewhat take care of myself. I love this song and how meaningful it became to me during that time. That band has its own outdoor restaurant now and I go every Friday night to hear them perform. The woman that sings this rocks it!
