Food shortages ?
Overall it was acceptable, knowing the current supply difficulties in this country. They do the best they can to accommodate us. Here's a small example of what I missed most in my week: No tomatoes of the week, as well as the traditional bacon. Some fresh fruits were also in short supply. It was still a very pleasant week.

Yay the crepes are back! Thank you Eduardo Fagundo, manager and director of the hotel! We are regulars to this resort and things were really bad in 2021 after covid. He is always trying his best to keep the standards up and works past the extreme challenges set by the embargo and the current economic crisis. And in 2017 we got married in that little gazebo! Followed by a beautiful photo shoot in Havana!

Hi Truong We had booked at this hotel in 2017. And according to me at that time the hotel was classified for the whole family. Now I think they would have changed their formula to accept adults only.

Several places on the site to connect to the wifi. Lobby, the snack bar near the pool, the buffet restaurant, as well as our room near the sea. But it did not always work due to the number of customers who were connecting at the same time. For the wifi, a code is given to us on our arrival at the reception, and this code is valid for the week. The unpleasant side with this wifi is that it is managed by the Nauta company, and after about 10 minutes after disconnecting, you have to reconnect again with the same code.

Thank you for your comment. We have always liked the Cuban people they are always very friendly. This was our first trip to Cayo Largo, and we plan to return again in the future. We have already booked our next trip to Cuba. This time we will go to Varadero at the Royalton Hicacos, we also hope there to find the same atmosphere as at the Starfish in Cayo Largo. I will definitely do a short video on this resort when I return in October this year.

@@crystalscott9899 yes the casino when we were there opened in the evening. It has roulette on table only. A lot of slots. A craps table. A few Blackjack and poker tables. We were there 2 and a half years ago though so it might have changed
