Very good,!.... but to be able to use all the tools that Biber has, it is necessary to have more tutorials or explanations
where's the 2nd part of this tutorial and for " Advanced Edge Support Design with Biber in Grasshopper (1) " ?
Hi Parametric Zoo, thank you for the tutorial I look forward to trying some of this out. I want to use this for a university project of mine. I have got Biber and Open Nest installed and have enabled Biber Nest but on loading keep getting this message. I have the most updated versions installed for Rhino7. Any idea how to fix? Thank you for your help Object: DisassembleComponent (level 1) Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. TargetInvocationException Object: DisassembleComponent (level 2) This component does not function after 12/01/2022 00:00:00! please renew your license. Exception
Please can you upload the second part of the video tutorial, I want to learn how to use this plugin.
Where's part 2 ? Guys, this plugin is awesome, You have to create a full workshop at least to show all features from design to production
thank you, we are looking for people to help with content creation, please hold on!
Super interesting, I would like to be able to help in the creation of content and at the same time be able to learn more about Biber.... you can contact me if you still need someone! ? Thank you
Can you create components with python instead of c#?
unfortunately not at this stage , but I am sure you can translate it to python with ChatGPT ;)
Very interesting
buenas noches, he tratado de contactarme para comprar el paquete más actualizado, ya que la version que está en la Autodesk Store solo llega a la del 2022, quisiera saber si aun lo tienen disponible para venta. Saludos cordiales
Cant find disassemble component in recently installed Biber, how can I fix this?
you need to have Open nest plugin installed. then reinstall Biber choosing custom option and enable Biber nest
Hi! This is awesome. One question: how do you make that visualization style from the start of the video with thicker profiles of the elements than the interior lines? Thank you!
Hello, is it available this component?
Mmmm... Is it actually possible to assemble all these joints ?
Hi, would like to buy para3d5.1, can't reach you!
When I enter the load, I encountered "no floor type was selected in row 1, 0 area loads have been updated" in the slab load generation report. The load table does not allow me to enter any values. Would you be able to direct me how to proceed. I am a curious architecture student
Which version of Revit are you using ? note that in each row of table you must select a floor type and that floor type must have been used in the model.
@@parametriczoo8568 revit 2019. I am unable to select any. The in-model floor selection disappear as soon as i move to the load type.
Hello, could you provide the link to download the addin?
Very clear and detailed explanation on how to export the Revit model to ETABS OR SAFE, Thank you for the great job.
Hello Parametric Zoo. Can you make more video about Biber? Thanks.
please more video tutorials, I want to continue learning to use biber
Does Biber take into account manufacturing tolerances or does it assume that all these joints slide effortlessly into one another?
there are two parameters to consider when it comes to manufacturing tolerances, GAP and EXTEND , first one allows for gap between parts along the joints and the second one extends parts outsides the designed surface so that they can be sand and smooth afterward
Excellent, this is the Hertel Mehlhorn Decomposition correct?
That's nuts. Please add support for fittings like hinges, drawers, minifixes, dowels.
It is supports ATC? How I can define multiple tools and a drillhead with twenty drills?
You can do that using grasshopper native components, I will make a video when I get some free time Can you share a screenshot of your tool holder in the forum ?
@@parametriczoo8568 I am working with a professional SCM Morbidelli m100 CNC machine which have an ATC spindle and a drilling head with around 20 drills installed and I am interested to see if I can make this plugins to work with that machine. I will post soon but I don't know what forum to post in!
@@raducoc you can find the forum here : www.parametriczoo.com/index.php/products/grasshopper-plugins/woodbee/
11:05 You put the bit into toolholder wrong. The top conical part it is the part where the toolholder gets into the spindle. The bottom part it is where the tool it is attached to the toolholder. Great video, btw. My bad, I think you are using a toolholder for robotic arms.
Very nice. It is possible to add support for fixtures? I do need to put holes for hinges, dowels, minifixes, screws, drawers in my designs.
For dowels we have dowel join, use it from the library, for other specific joints please share an example on the forum, we will integrate that in the next upgrade
It is possible to use this components with a 3axis CNC machine. I do program and operate a professional SCM machine with toolchanger and drillhead and I am interested to integrate this components into my workflow.
At the moment it is not possible for user to do so, however you can share the machine information and a link to supplier so that we can build the post-processor for you
Wow really nice! Power BI or Tableau finally inside Revit!
I found it called 'Biber'. Cool!!
Hi, great work. Would you be able to share the script? Thank you.
Where can I get a copy of Woodbee?
It is available from today on www.FoodforRhino.com
Where can I find the unfold component?, is this not available in Biber?
Hi michel, I think I replied to your question on another post , hope you figured that out
@@parametriczoo8568 I have the same problem, I don't see the unfold in Biber.
@@huynhnguyen1069 Hi there make sure you have installed open nest. Run Biber installer and choose custom or change , then choose Biber nest and select "will be installed on local hard drive". you should be able to use Unfold now
@@parametriczoo8568 Thanks! I got it.
Wonderful, but I didn't find the unfold component in Biber, there was also no way to add open nest plugin, I have the error when loading in rhinoceros. Can you help me ?
when installing the Biber , please choose custom and select the Biber nest component to be install on your local drive, (I assume you have installed the Open nest) if you still have problem then copy the OpenNestLib.dll to Biber installation folder
@@parametriczoo8568 Thanks, i will try. Yes i have this installed. Congratulations on this fantastic project. soon i should test this on cnc!!!
@@parametriczoo8568 Perfect , work well , thanks again !!!!!
hi i'm trying to install the toolpath optimizer but i keep getting an error when open grasshopper and the component is unavaliable on the GH enviroment. i noticed a line on the readme file.txt /*Duration: This package is valid till 01/01/2022 */
yes this was a limited time package (beta), The new package is under development in accordance with new version of KUKAprc. if you wish to test it please post your interest in forum or send email to info@parametriczoo.com
This is nice. I recently also created an edge/vertice/surface selection tool using some of the free plugins on f4r.
