This is the first time I'm seeing the filter get filled with oil before screwing it back on. I've always put it back on empty, and then it gets filled after running the engine (and then I add a little more oil to top it off). Can it be done this way on this Taco too? I'm just afraid of spilling the oil while screwing it back on. Even though I've done many oil changes, this will be my first time on my "new" 2007 Taco, and all my other vehicles were a lot older and different make, so I just want to make sure I do it right. Thank you for clarifying where the filter is. Every other video and article says it's on top, and I couldn't find it for the life of me, and when I peeked under, I thought I saw what looked like a filter, and sure enough, it's where you pointed it out to be.
Yes you can do it your way as well, only reason I fill the filter with oil is to prime it, allowing oil to be in the filter at first let's oil get through the engine quicker on first startup. It really isn't hugely necessary, modern oil pumps are very good and hold oil in the engine regardless. You just have to be sure you have the right amount of oil when you're done and you will be good!

So why do you need a relay? Ininstalled my lights not knowing they wouldnt work plug and play , so nowni have to do this , but why?
Explained in the video, the electrical system is setup as alternating ground rather than alternating power. The relay setup we used allows the circuit to be altered allowing it to simulate a alternating power setup required for the aftermarket headlights.

Suggestion: For future presentations like this, it would be helpful for you to use a laser pointer to indicate exactly where to look (i.e. what are we supposed to be looking at when checking the belt or looking at the brakes) This would help someone who doesn't know anything about cars.

I just got the same car and I’m thinking about small block Chevy swapping it. What will I have to do to get the motor to bolt up the stock tranny?
Probably quite a bit, get a custom bellhousing made likely would do it. But I'm not sure how the stock transmission looks as I never had one.
Interested to know the specs on that cut off switch and the amp draw on the winch.

The unit I got years back did not seem to charge FAST. However I’ve seen online that the recent version of this does charge ~faster~ but I cannot personally attest to that.

Did you use the same driveshaft , and what did you use for the trans cross member, I'm putting a Automatic in my yellow Conquest TSI
Not sure about the auto trans but the trans tunnel would probably need to be cutout for it to fit. Checkout the other videos, I go over the trans bracket and driveshaft. I had a driveshaft made specific length with output from t5 to input on torque tube on the diff for the conquest.
I have a 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSI, putting a 5.0L Ford 302 in it ,,, what kind of oil pan did you use, the pan that came of the engine or a pan with the soomp in the front
