Nice. Very nice. I could listen to it all day. I love Hammond/Leslie , which I play at my church( Hammond Colonnade/ Leslie 705) but you are not slapping that Leslie switch back and forth ,back & forth..so many organists do that It's good to play with Leslie on chorale and then to tremolo for awhile. When the switching is ever 8 seconds the Leslie doesn't have time to fully wind up or down. So that changes the sound of the effect. My name is also Anthony. Great playing.

I myself play a Hammond organ, Anthony. Mine’s smaller than yours but still packs one heck of a punch. I have a Hammond H-140 that has a built-in Leslie tone cabinet.

Beautifully done! In his early years Dale played the Hammond which was THE electric Organ in the 1950's. I like the registration you chose, Anthony....AND I love the improvs you did !! I feel Dale would have like that!

What signifies the Hammond is that each note has a clicking attack to it which makes it easier to articulate especailly on trills

Thank you so much! The tone cabinet was playing simultaneously when I made this recording, but the mic was closer to the Leslie on the other side of the room, not in the frame.

I know that I’m 4 years late coming to this party and to be honest not sure why it just popped up on my videos to watch list. Anyway, I’m a Hammond organist and Allen too, but I have to say this is the most creative classical work I’ve ever heard. I just can’t believe you got this sound out of a Hammond. Absolutely love it. So glad I ran across this video. Thank you for posting. You are talented!

All of JS Bach's Organ Works (Barenteiter Verlag has a slip case of 11 Volumes, they're also working on a newer version with maybe more) sound amazing on the mighty Hammond because the Hammond was originally meant as a less expensive alternative to the Pipe Organ which that always held tune.
