Today was the first time I heard of this monument, and it really makes want to visit in 10 years from now, to the placement of the 5th stone (i hope i will be in good health for it). 😊

I will be 26 when the 5th block will be placed.

The first block was placed the same year I was born, completely irrelevant but I like it😂

I'm curious on what to do with the oldest block when it reaches more than 100 years (typical lifespan of modern concrete structures), and god forbid if it erodes will the future children gonna patch it?

I wonder if the concrete will last 1200 years. Perhaps the plan will be changed to not put blocks on top of blocks, but just in one plane, to see the past crumble when the time passes.

Went to this monument in july 2023 as a comical tourist stop while I was in germany. glad to finally see the fourth block placed, it's interesting to see a crowd at this site. hope i live long enough to see the first row completed

Hätte ja noch verstanden wenn man das Areal eingezäunt hätte und alle 10 jahre einen Mammutbaum oder sowas gepflanzt hätte aber das ist der komplette Schwachsinn.
