    So just who gets to determine what’s a parable and what’s a real event….let me guess….a man? But another man says it means something else….but another man says you’re both wrong etc! Apparently there are 45,000 different Men who disagree with each other as to what the Bible says, hence the 45,000 different sects of Christianity worldwide. Apparently nobody knows what that idiotic book written by goat herders is saying!

      That is because "your" god, who you dreamed up yourself, answers to you rather than the other way around, which is how reality works. You may have listened to and liked the totally unscientific idea that Darwin introduced into the world of philosophy, or you may just think that "you" are the source of all wisdom and everyone else is wrong. Whichever the case, you definitely exhibit that common trait of all humans which is that "we" as individuals are the most important thing in life and others better wake up to that fact.

    Oh here is another thing that I might add which can help modern-day Christians too, and it is: We Christians in the "body of Christ" Today are not among the Little Flock, no We are the Apostle Paul's Audience of Christians, plus we will not go through the 7 years Tribulation because we will already be in heaven. Besides we will have enough to do with our Judgement Seat of Christ, and than we will be the replacement of those fallen angels ,and then placed somewhere in heavenly places. Anyway this is not rocket science if people study like Paul says and read the bible they can figure out what it means for themselves.

      Possibly the person was never saved in the first place.. just my theory I'm no expert by any means on any of this but I will say that I get concerned when pastors make a simple altar call and tell people to say a little prayer I always wish that they would be very very emphatic that it comes from someone's heart when they truly turn from sin and turn to Christ as their Savior that they truly truly mean it rather than just mouthing words..

      @@Psalm146-2 1st John is very specific about "habitual sins" (your words). If a person practices sin then he " does not know Him" (see 3:6b). BTW, if we have unrecognized sin, what does that say about the Holy Spirit who lives in a "believer" and guides them into all truth? Blessings!

      @@user-js8pg4fu8f How many times does a person have to do a sin for it to be considered habitual? Ever get angry - maybe in traffic? Anger is rooted in pride. Ever looked at an attractive woman (or man as the case may be) a little longer than you should have? That’s lust or adultery. Ever not given your employer 100%? That’s stealing. All of us do these things but not all of us are cognizant that we’re even doing them. And if you’ve done it more than once, and we all do, then it can be considered habitual. Paul said in Romans 7:19 “For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.” He wasn’t saying that he did a particular sin one time and then never did it again - he was plagued by sin - like we all are. And the Holy Spirit doesn’t lead us in to a sinless life - you never see an example of that anywhere in Scripture. The Holy Spirit does indeed lead us to truth - and part of that truth is recognizing that we are depraved. As for the OPs remark, that person should be talked to with Matthew 18:15-17 in mind “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. 17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.” I’m honestly not trying to be argumentative but holding someone to a standard that can’t be met, and not following Matthew 18, puts a burden on people similar to what the Pharisees did. Agreed, we should do our best to not sin, but when we do, we ask for forgiveness, repent, and move on.

    Jesus tells us that no man can come to Him (to Christ) unless God, the Father, draws him (man). (John 6:44) I had answered an altar call and ‘asked/accepted Jesus into my heart’ -based on my own self-conviction: yes, I was a sinner, but I was a good mother, a good wife, a good person- ‘a good sinner’ in my own eyes, albeit full of REMORSE. Three decades later when God convicted me HE exposed my wicked/deceitful heart. (Jeremiah 17:9) HE brought me to my knees and, in HIS mercy, gifted me HIS faith to REPENT and believe in HIS son as my Savior. HE clothed my REPENTANT soul with love and compassion and DREW me to Christ Jesus. It was Jesus who accepted me when He saw the work of the Father in me. It is Jesus who does the accepting unto Himself. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6) to His Father’s kingdom. Should He preserve me and take me there, I shall be on my knees for eternity.

    "One quarter evil in the pit" hides a secret...One quarter good is deceived by one quarter evil to make the half needed at D as De back to G has two sides D "Is two come" and the left side is love that goes into curved light that the O god image [earth] was made in. The D is one quarter each as evil which causes the next new earth to be good at both sides for Moses when those come out from corded inside the G and begin a new IS. Half is needed as D because earths multiply for ever this way .

      @@aussierob7177 No, and if this is what you are teaching nobody should be in your church. Read your Bible, an accurate translation, ask for discernment. Modalism is not a correct teaching. See Isaiah 44:18 and 2 Corinthians 4:4. The god of this world in that passage refers to satan. Do you want to follow a fallen angel? Or do you want to follow the true and living God? I will pray for you to have discernment. You want to avoid false teachers. Anyone teaching modalism is not teaching the true word of God. Hope this clears things up for you.

    It is a false teaching that all people who die without CHRIST go to hell. The wicked go there for sure but the billions upon billions of people who never heard of CHRIST and were not wicked will not spend an eternity in consciense torment in the lake of fire. They will parrt of the saved nations ruled over by CHRIST and His overcoming saints.

      Those people don't exist. If they're dead in transgression and sin, they're wicked. If somebody practices righteousness, you can be sure they're born of God, and that only happens by the Word.

    I'm saved by Effectual Grace, through the Power of the Holy Spirit. I had nothing to do with my Salvation. I got myself into this mess called sin. Why would God need any help, getting me out of it?

      Calvin is dead! Long live John Calvin! A better way to get out of the mess we call "sin" is to abandon any religious cult that uses sin as a weapon. Sin is the act of going against the religious laws of this or that religion. As an atheist, I am simply free from sin, and free to follow the common-sense moral and legal code that you also follow. Murder, rape, stealing etc. are all considered immoral and illegal by most people and most governmental institutions across the world, plus some other things allowed in the bible, like slavery. We have progressed since the times of the ancient scribes and rabbis. Come join us in the modern world!

    The real question is what and where is hell and how long does it last? We must allow the word of God to speak for itself. "The wages of sin is death" (Not painful eternal life). The wicked will suffer "eternal punishment" (not eternal punishing). The punishment of death is eternal not the brief time in the lake of fire prior to death. Revelation 20:9 says the lake of fire will take place on the surface of the earth when the wicked attempt to take the holy city. Note that this takes place AFTER the 1,000 years. No one is burning in hell right now. Malachi ch.4 tells us that the wicked will be "burned up" and be "ashes under the souls of our feet". The meek shall inherit the earth and the wicked will be dead feeling no pain. They will have paid their price for a lifetime of sin in the lake of fire. Each person's duration will reflect their life choices but death will eventually come. When we say that God will torture people for ever in hell we show that we really don't understand his character. That also maligns His character. The doctrine of eternal torture in hell comes from Greek mythology. It's a pagan doctrine that wove it's way into the protestant churches through the Catholic Church. Protestants have lost sight of what they are protesting. That's where Sunday sacredness comes from too. Its not in the Bible. Show me Sunday observance in the Bible.....you won't find it.

      You can worship God on any day. Doesn't matter which. Sunday isn't sacred. And Jesus said people will be in hell where the worm never dies and the fire isn't quenched. In other words, unending eternal torment.

      ​@@christislord6136Jesus was quoting Isaiah and Isaiah was describing the Valley of Hinnom, not hell. What Jesus mostly spoke about was Gehenna (Valley of Hinnom). Research Gehinnom and you will see that no soul is ever lost to God.

    The only people in hell (or heaven for that matter) are those who choose it. Without the choice there could be no hell. We don't live in a world of arbitrary moral laws, where God wags his figure at those people who break a random set of rules. No, everyone chooses whether or not they will become like Jesus, no matter if they have heard of Him or not. The choices you make literally change you into the type of person who wants unity with God or eternal separation from Him.

    *Calvinism is a FALSE GOSPEL.* Jesus died for *ALL of us* (John 1:29), (John 3:16,17), (John 4:42), (2 Corinthians 5:14, 15), (Romans 5:18), (1 Timothy 2:6), (1 Timothy 4:10,11)... etc. A “god” who, being able to choose, chose the *immense majority* of humans to be destroyed in hell!!, not to be saved… *is NOT a loving God, is NOT a merciful God.* My calvinist friend, you are not better than anyone. God didn't see anything special in you. Nothing. You are not worth a cent more than any of the billions of souls that your “god” is going to send to hell without any possibility of choice. The only reason God could choose you without violating His character, without being a respecter of persons, (Romans 2:11) is because He knew in advance that you would respond positively to His call. “For many are called, but few *CHOSEN.* ” (Matthew 22:14) *FREE WILL = LOVE!!* "I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; *CHOOSE,* therefore..." (Deuteronomy 34:19). Also, *the Bible does NOT say that we are totally depraved beings.* Be very careful friends! This statement could well come from the mouth of satan himself, who is completely depraved. *We still carry the image of God!* Let's not forget it. And because of that, we can *BELIEVE* and respond freely to God's call for salvation. *That limited atonement is an abomination.* Heresy of great caliber. There is nothing exclusive or limited about the cross. Nothing!! *He paid for ALL our sins* (Isaiah 53:6), (1 John 2:2), (John 12:47), (1 John 4:14), (Titus 2:11), (Hebrews 2:9). That is why Jesus commands us to preach to every creature in every nation. Irresistible grace? Not only is it a heretical concept (Acts 7:51), but it is absurd in its essence. Grace is a gift by definition. A gift that cannot be refused... is not a gift, it is an imposition. *Once saved, always saved, no matter what you do, it is one of the devil's biggest and best lies.* The Spirit of God is not up to nonsense! The entire New Testament is full of warnings, from Jesus and Paul, against apostasy. Warning someone of a danger that does not exist is stupid. The Spirit of God would never do such a thing. We need to study the Bible, but we urgently need to take off our Calvin glasses so we can see. Prayer and fasting.
