~ today (now yesterday) was a very rough day for me. i hit a bit of a wall with my health, + i decided to let myself talk about it. it's so nerve-wracking for me to upload a video of me being so vulnerable, but i think it's definitely worth posting. as of the time i'm uploading this on 17 dec, i am doing MUCH better - if i didn't have bad days, i wouldn't fully appreciate the good ones. :) ~

yay!! i highly recommend it 😊 some great places to learn are lifeprint.com (there’s whole asl lessons there taught by a Deaf teacher), vcu has an asl club that i’m a part of, and there’s also some Deaf events around richmond! lemme know if you ever want to practice together 💛

oooooo relatable af. tbh it's good that ur taking a step back and evaluating the things that are giving u difficulties instead of just bulldozing thru it (which, at least in my experience, almost always leads to frustration and burnout). re-evaluating ur mindset and methods is a great thing to do when ur trying to b productive, hopefully if ur able to focus on the aspects of making videos that are genuinely fun for u then it should continue to b an overall positive experience. best of luck!!

Thanks Devin! I totally relate to that feeling of trying to find the perfect time. It’s stressful to be constantly occupied with it whenever you have a conversation, so National Coming Out Day is a really good platform for young queer folks to say their piece.
