I wonder why a California dude would choose KC. The weather for riding there sucks most of the time. Oddly enough, the DIY moto garage there (Hickory Union) has faired way better than Lucky Wheels DIY garage in L.A. which closed its DIY doors a few years back.

The data is pretty simple. Less hunters today then in the 1980’s. Hunters fund public access, game management, etc. if you look at social media you may think there are more hunters. Not true. Hunters are responsible for saving many species in NA.

10th Planet SLC was very welcoming and they rolled legit! Got my butt handed to me by a young purple belt who I have probably 100 lbs on. Great technique. If you're from out of town and not used to the elevation, be warned! I felt like a fat kid In a swim meet. Also, Amir was very welcoming and he made sure I knew where to go and responded to my messages promptly. They left me feeling motivated to train harder and smarter as time goes on and to work on my flexibility. Thanks guys!

Great conversation/episode. I met Ricky a couple years ago and the handful of times I've had conversations with him have been consistently interesting and enjoyable. I was born in the 80s, so I was part of the generation where we were told we needed to go to college and get an office job so we didn't have to work physically hard for a living like our parents/grandparents did. I've been working office jobs now for over a decade, and I'm totally burnt out. I want to actually *do* something.... but all I know is tech related so I feel stuck. People like Ricky who fight against that sterile lifestyle are truly an inspiration.

Love Jake Zweig! Been following since he was a guest on SOFREP podcast days, through the “Dude! You’re Screwed” series. Great background in the SEALS and wonderful coach, mentor, and role model. Interesting and charisma so engaging, you can’t stop listening, but you gotta make him laugh... his laugh is golden. Every young person needs a Jake Zweig in their life. Fun and smart, and those two things are hard to find together. Great interview! 🇺🇸
