My fan is squeaking, but at $100 for a motor replacement, I will live with it for a while until it gets unbearable. Thanks for the tips on how to replaced the motor for when that time comes.

Had supper at the lodge restaurant. As it had rained recently, everything was green and in bloom. Worked in the petro-chemical construction industry all over Texas. Plenty of state to explore...

Hey brother here at the island you need all terrains and maybe need to air down some, on days like that where the sand is sticky it will fill your treads fast! I have a tundra and it's a beast there but I haven't towed a trailer like that in that sand.

For the price that trailer cost that should’ve never happened with the steps. You’re better off removing or altogether and installing them once you get to your destination.

For your black water to fill quickly and gray water to stay almost non-moving… sounds like the sensors are holding poles to the wrong tanks.

We have a 2021 purchased new and have had no leaks.

This was a great real life test of your trailer while boondocking :). My tip … pee in the sand and poop in the toilet … 😂

I have a Sailboat with a mini-Kitchen, and to keep the drawers shut, I put Heavy Duty Magnets in each corner. Now it takes a bit of Muscle to open them.

We love the Padre islands. Camping on the north island is more remote, lots less vehicle traffic. But man is that salt spray rough on the equipment. It wouldn’t take too much time to wreck a trailer like that.

How´s the maintenance now that you´ve had it for a while? wheel bearings in particular.

Not to sound too critical, but a suspension failure on that road could have been catastrophic for your adventure. In the end, no matter how "off roady" it is, a full-sized travel trailer is not made for that kind of road.

Could use a little lift on the truck to improve the hitch clearance as well ass a high hitch.

We have the Magma Pans and love them.

Thanks for posting. I run trails in central tx all the time and am getting ready to sign up. I was worried the trail would be super technical but it doesn’t look too bad. This helped me decide to do the 20k rather than the 10k.

I like the way it looks from the outside and the layout inside. The windows are great, though the numerous, large clips/handles detract from the view. I dislike how small the freezer is. I mostly need a freezer, rarely use my fridge at home. Ugh, hearing there are leaks is very concerning.

👍👌❤️🇨🇦, may I make a suggestion. The moisture from having your Maxx fan in the BR will cause the circuit board to short out, disconnect the ribbon and all other connections and spray the board with 3 to 4 coats of comform silicone spray, this will save your circuit board

You need to learn how to fish. Catch some and grill them up.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We had the same problem with our Maxx Air fan and had to replace the circuit board and fan motor as well. This was so helpful! We replaced the motor from inside the van thanks to your great tips!
