Το Πολύνερο, μέχρι το 1928 Ναϊπλή, είναι χωριό του Δήμου Καβάλας της περιφερειακής ενότητας Καβάλας, στην περιφέρεια Ανατολικής Μακεδονίας και Θράκης. Η δημοτική κοινότητα Πολύνερου, που περιλαμβάνει και τον οικισμό Κρανοχώρι, σύμφωνα με την απογραφή του 2021 είχε 19 κατοίκους. Βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 510 μέτρων.
Μέχρι την ανταλλαγή πληθυσμών το 1923, το Πολύνερο κατοικούνταν από μουσουλμάνους. Η στατιστική του 1900 αναφέρει ότι είχε 360 κατοίκους και η στατιστική Χαλκιόπουλου αναφέρει ότι είχε 256 κατοίκους. Η στατιστική και η απαρίθμηση πληθυσμού από τον ελληνικό στρατό το 1911 και 1913 αναφέρουν ότι είχε 531 και 551 κατοίκους αντίστοιχα. Μετά την ανταλλαγή πληθυσμών, στο Πολύνερο εγκαταστάθηκαν 49 οικογένειες προσφύγων, με το χωριό να αποκτά αμιγώς προσφυγικό πληθυσμό Στην απογραφή του 1928 είχε 160 κατοίκους και στην απογραφή του 1940 είχε 233 κατοίκους. Το Πολύνερο αποτελούσε έδρα κοινότητας μέχρι το 1997, όταν με το πρόγραμμα Καποδίστριας εντάχθηκε στον δήμο Φιλίππων. Με το πρόγραμμα Καλλικράτης εντάχθηκε στον δήμο Καβάλας

This movie is underrated in my opinion. It just came out this year and many people already forgot that this movie even exists. Also, according to what I read in some reviews, some people didn't like the fact that due to the creators' fiction, it was not very accurate to the true story. Some people say that it was a bad movie, but it was very good for me.

Hm, eigentlich die geilste Idee, des Jahres, einen Film über dieses Duell zu machen. Die Bilder der Landschaft und der Fahrzeuge sind großartig, man hat zwei tolle Hauptdarsteller - ABER - Wenn eine reale Geschichte existiert, warum hält man sich dann nicht daran?! Walter Röhrl war Bienenzüchter? Das wird ihn überraschen... hat man, bevor man diesen Film realisierte mit den damaligen Protagonisten Kontakt aufgenommen? lancia dürfte vielleicht noch einigermaßen glücklich mit der recht einseitigen Darstellung sein, aber wie bewertet man den Film wohl bei Audi? Wenn es einfach nur ein fiktiver Rallyefilm wäre, könnte man ihn loben, aber so ist es ehrlich gesagt ein fragwürdiges Machwerk! Trotzdem hoffe ich sehr, dass es insofern Nachahmer geben wird, dass der Rallyesport der Gruppe B häufiger verfilmt wird.

Η εκκλησια ειναι του Αγιου Γεωργιου αν δεν κανω λαθος. Τα καλαντα ειναι προς τιμην του πεθερου μου ο οποιος λεγοταν Προδρομος, οπως και ο γιος μου. Για το υπολοιπο σκελος της ερωτησης, θα ρωτησω και θα επανερθω, κι εγω επισκεπτης ειμαι.

@@aphronful Ρωρησα την συζυγο, ειχε και προσφυγες απο την Θρακη, και απο τον Ποντο. Οι Καππαδοκες ηταν η πλειοψηφια.
Στο Πολύνερο εγκαταστάθηκαν κάτοικοι από την Καππαδοκία, και Πόντο. Την πλειοψηφία την είχαν όσοι ήρθαν από τα Λίμνα( Γκιολτσούκ), επαρχία Νίγδης( Καππαδοκία). Υπήρχαν όμως και λίγοι Σαρακατσάνοι .

I don't get the hate for this movie. I guess people were expecting a Hollywood experience like Rush or Ford vs Ferrari. Sure Race for Glory isn't perfect and there are some things I would've liked to be different, but it looks great, perfect 80s soundtrack and the car sounds put pretty much any Hollywood production to shame.

Great sequence! People who didn't like the movie completely missed the point. This shows just how great Walter Röhrl and the 037 were! It didn't matter that the Audi managed to overtake them, because the 037 was so much faster! This is also a great reference to the fact that. while everyone expected Greece to cause mechanical problems on the cars, the problems were all on the Quattro, not 037.

Audi did everything by the rules and pushed the cars to what was physically possible. Lancia did everything by the heart and dedicated themselves with passion. This is not a brilliant movie, but made me really happy to see this wonderful era of motorsport in the movies!

Is it just me but it feels they are driving way slower than the group B cars did back in the day. the film makers should have immersed themselves more in the real videos to get the feel. This seems like a great movie but the driving feels a bit meh...

Considering how difficult is to drive these cars (which remember that they come from an era when brakes and suspension were of secondary importance, there were no power steering cars and electronic assistance systems had not been invented) they did a great job. If you watch videos with these cars racing during the 80s of course they are faster. But if you watch videos from current historic rallies where these cars still participate, you will see that they don't drive fast at all, while in the same historic rallies they drive way faster with Group A cars from the 90s. And in this movie it could be extremely worse, in my opinion. Don't forget that they are actors, not rally drivers.
@@NickolasZannithakis yes but a movie should convey emotionally the things it represents, matching the original reality or exceeding it, otherwise it becomes a presentation, not cinema.

For example he avoided Rally Finland, the ultimate test of skill and bravery, because he knew he wasn’t going to do well there. The absolute greatest must master all surfaces: asphalt, technical slower gravel, harsh conditions that take tactical skill to go fast enough but not too fast to break the car, snow and ice and finally fast flowing gravel with jumps, which takes ultimate rhythm, precision, reflexes and courage.

In the movie the crash happened because the suspension broke, after they did a setting that a mechanic disagreed, so what the co-driver says in this scene doesn't matter.

Race For Glory Audi VS Lancia. It's the best movie of 2024. Apart from Ferrari and The Garfield Movie. I love it because of the cars and the engines. The Lancia 037 and the Audi Quattaro. Some of my favourite cars of all time. Apart from the Dodge Viper RT/10, the McLaren F1, the Ford GT40, Lotus 49, Lotus 79 and the Mini Cooper S as well as many others. I also love it because of the film taking place in 1983, the greatest World Rally Championship of all time and my personal favourite WRC, apart from 1986, 1995, 1998 and 2003. I also love it because of Group B which is and was by far the best era of rallying apart from Group A. And finally, I love it because it features Walter Rohrl, the greatest rally driver of all time and my favourite rally driver of all time apart from Colin McRae. By the way, Ayrton Senna and Jim Clark are two of my favourite drivers of all time. Also, The Shawshank Redemption and The Incredibles are two of my favourite film's of all time. And my favourite cartoon of all time is Albert The 5th Musketeer. And of course my favourite song of all time is Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley.
