Love this kind of compact “set review” where you only talk about the hitters. This would be an awesome way to shorten the multi-hour set reviews that a lot of podcasts lean into (which I also love but there are more Highlander specific things I want to hear from councilors about)

really excited about legion extruder in my various midrange stax & scraps builds. ive playtested it heavily on cockatrice and its performed really well. just a burn spell which curves into itself and has a synergistic typing

Really glad to hear that ya'll are not into pointing WPA, ngl its not really very good into combo and medium into jeskai. The place that it really shines is slightly durdly midrange decks. Honestly in the meta recently my ranking of D&T 3 drops is Adeline, Archon, WPA

loved hearing your thoughts on interacting with your opponent versus synergy with your own deck. now i feel better about cutting scavenging ooze from decks where it has no synergies. also, loved the top 8. seeing someone force of will a rally at the hornburg was such a beautiful canlander moment.

I really resonate with the idea that D&T is really good into almost all of the metagame but gets absolutely slammed by the slightest larger aggro decks in RW and Monsters. I’m constantly trying to work out wether a given metagame will contain those decks to see wether I should stay on mono W or join the monsters players

I was very impressed with Tenth District Hero in Mono W Humans & Taxes, especially if you play a lot of 2 drops collecting evidence isn't super hard. Cards like solitude and smugglers copter are great fo getting cards in your graveyard
