LEITNER ConnX - e-mobility solution for urban areas
The urban mobility revolution is moving closer: ConnX, LEITNER’s new intermodal mobility system, is soon to be launched on the market in 2025, after successfully passing all tests.
The centrepiece of the new ConnX solution - derived from the English word connect - is a ropeway, whose cabin is transferred over to an autonomous electric vehicle when it enters the station, which then continues its journey at street level. The system offers two main advantages in an urban context: firstly, topographical or structural obstacles can be overcome more easily with a ropeway solution, and secondly, the intermodal "double solution" is an important alternative for all those areas where a continuous ropeway variant is not feasible for various reasons.

diese mittelbügel sind katastrophe für die ski, man kommt nicht gescheit drauf weil die dinger einfach zu klein sind um die ski richtig zu halten. Verbesserungsvorschlag von mir ist die entweder etwas größer zu machen oder das alte system mit dem neuen zu kombinieren, also die alten breiten skihalter zu haben, aber die neuen dinger nicht bis ganz unten, damit die gefahr des Herausrutschen gebannt ist.
Stell dich nicht mit den Skiern, sondern mit den Schuhen drauf (also die Lücke zwischen Ski und Schuh). Das ist recht angenehm.

I don't understand telemix lifts, they seem so useless
with little children or toboggan you take the gondola. Skiers don't want to take off their skis. They take the chairs.
The telemix is mainly used to accommodate young inexperienced skiers and hikers without needing to slow down the telemix. For example, this is the drawback of the Ramasse chairlift in Val Cenis, France, which has to slow down for pedestrians. However, the downside of a telemix is the queue it can create, such as with Marmottes 1 at Alpe d’Huez, in France
Telemix is extremly comfy, love it. Chose what you like for your ride.
And dont forget that if they have infrastructure on the mountain it is easier to use the cabins for logistics

@@theo3857 I know, but currently LPA does not have any D line competitor, they don’t even offer an 8 pack. The Leitner pinifara would be the perfect d line competitor for LPA.

@@theo3857 yes, LPA is short for Leitner Poma of America. I assumed LPA did not offer any because they have not built any in North America. I still think they should bring the pinafara to North America, it would be a great D Line competitor
@@Bluebottlenose yes it might be. But the thing i learned this summer when Installing DemacLenko snow system in Sweden and also Leitner. It is pretty much a dick measuring contest and usually the customers are very one sided. If they have one thing they dont want to switch because its like a cult and they worship them. This is from my experience when meeting people who like technoalpin. They pretty much argue that its the best because they say so, they cant show any data on why its the best it just is. So bringing the 8 seater from pina might be pretty hard if there is no "use" for it in the american market. Sorry for writing a bible about the topic😅

Hab am vergangenen Freitag die First Tracks für dieses Jahr am Pointe de la Masse gehabt und war wirklich begeistert von der Anlage und der Hänge die sie erschließt. Absolutes Freerideparadies, besonders bei Neuschnee (oder Saisonstart).
