Sharp is sharp no matter how you achieve it
@@tinapriest857 yep
Looks like what I mow here in NE Texas. Buffalo gnats already out too.
I'm in ne tx. Haha
Those frontier bushhogs don't hold up very well mine didn't even make it two years i went with a modern AG bushhog
Yes I know. I have 3 of them. A 4,5 and now a 6 foot. I have 2 bad boys. They are a little tougher. I can back over bigger brush without folding the back end into the blades. Haha. I like the way the frontiers cut over the bad boy. I cut alot of hay meadow type property and the frontier seems to do better. Cuts a little lower. I will use frontier on those and my bad boy on brushy stuff.
@@boggycreekoutdoors never used a badboy but i will agree i do miss the cut quality of the frontier over the modern AG however the modern AG is taking the punishment far better than the frontier
@@timbrown6356 I have some videos showing my bad boys. Check them out.
Good video I saw your post on John Deere Facebook group . I’m your newest subscriber 😅
Thanks for subscribing.

Doesnt look loke your rear disc are even cuting. Might have to adjust your 3 point to get the real of the disc in the ground
Yes. I need to play around with it more.
Lengthen your top link first. If that doesn't help, add some weight to it.
Looks good !
Thanks
@@boggycreekoutdoors I have an old 5 foot brush hog. Thinking about upgrading but I’ve been looking at the flail mowers
@@dryrunoutdoors I've seen the videos on the flail mowers. I seen a new blade get worn really quick. Not sure how long they would last compared to the bush hog blade. Or the cost vs bush hog blades.
@@boggycreekoutdoors that’s good insight. I’ll have to do some research on that. We’d mainly be mowing tall grass with it, banks, and around the pond. I’d keep the 5 foot brush hog for the big stuff
I build those bush hogs in Batesville AR. I make sure they are welded good. I always keep the customer in mind and do my best job. They are hand welded all the way out.
They are built good. My 6 foot does have a cracked weld. I will show you when I get a chance. Not sure what I done. I'm hard on them though. Not bad boys fault at all. Wished it would cut a little bit lower. It's perfect for what it is meant for. I mow alot of hay meadow type fields for people. My frontier cuts it better. For brush bad boy is great.
Cut off then cover it.
Didn't want to dull chain. Haha. I may end up having to do than eventually
@@boggycreekoutdoors I hear that.
Better choice than the 7’ on the other video
Yes. I use the 6 foot and 5 foot for jobs. I'm gonna use the 7 foot on my own property. My ground is rough. Having to go slow anyway. I figure this would be a little bit faster.
Man you go fast on that tractor.
Yep. Haha
