Which technique has the defender put their right arm around the neck and their left arm under the attackers right arm and the defender grabs their bicep and kicks the attackers leg? (I remember this being an orange belt technique)

Great explanation, thank you so much for sharing. If you want to be completely true to the orange manual, I think the suffixed K should be executed with the forward leg, not the rear leg. In the literal words of the manual: "...'K' again represents a front snap kick to the groin, using the forward leg. '

After destructive twins you did something you called hooking prongs. And you did it again after the second crashing wing. Is this part of a technique somewhere in the circulum or can you talk about what this is?

Never have I seen someone so competent at terrible bullshit. With this coordination you would do well in some actual martial arts, not Ed Parker's bullshido. Perhaps you would even get a brown belt in shotokan

I started my Kenpo journey in 1966 and was trained by Ed Parker and Chuck Sullivan at the old Crenshaw Dojo. I was an original student of Dan Inostanto and Richard Bustillo at the Filipino Academy and learned Bruce Lee's JKD. After years of studying other systems I'm back to relearning the Kenpo forms. Thank you for your excellent instruction on the precise movements in the Kenpo forms.👍🏼

Okay another one of those techniques that's more of an idea than actual practicality my main question right now is that final kick to the inside knee and stomp down that you really didn't emphasize the inside kick to the knee and stomp to the ankle. Just wondering if you could elaborate more on this!? Thanks you guys have a happy new year !

Hook punches: use a Bong Sau, or double knife hand (forearm) block.

  • @MattCantu76

People say outward blocks left/right are weak and in effective. I have blocked (deflected) many straight punches this way. My opponents had strong upper bodies too. I love those blocks, also Kung Fu "darting hands" too.
