Friends brought their new baby to visit my mother. The dog - also a Maltese - Shih Tzu watched as my mother nursed the new born. As soon as they left the dog was up in her lap - taking back his rightful place LOL

Aw, they're both so adorable. I really feel for the one who wants affection. I cringe when I see favoritism going on. The puppy not being showered with affection could end up resenting the other one. It would be better if you would give them equal affection and Attention. Our fur babies love us so much. I'm sorry but I'm a result of favoritism. I can't even watch this video again. The puppies are cute but I don't like this video.
@Margaret Hernandez, 🙃. It’s ok….there’s never a favouritism here as well…it was their night time routine before bed. The puppy on top (he’s the big brother) just got his teeth brushed, just got cleaned up and groomed then off to bed but before that, they need to do little tricks for Mummy and a big hug for a finale…then it’s the little ones’ turn. the little one wants to do the tricks too but he needs to wait for his turn. Mummy only has two hands😉…and believe me…if you knew us….you would know how much love we give for our fur babies…and I am happy to hear you love your fur babies too🥰, they are just like little human babies too aren’t they?❤️

The vet told me to start brushing my Maltese's teeth. He gave me a jar of bubblegum flavored dog toothpaste and a gauze. He told me to only brush her canines. I asked, "If she's a dog, aren't they all canines?"

There’s no way I could’ve brushed my dearly departed Maltese terrier’s teeth. I would’ve lost a hand, or suffered serious mauling of the forearm. Maltese terriers can be deceptively aggressive, if that is not trained out of them as a pup.

I am trying to get my 6 month old Maltese to brush his teeth but he doesn't seem to like the chicken flavour paste. At first he would lick it and I reward him with a treat. 2nd & 3rd day- he would run away. HELP!
😂…they’re funny aren’t they? We got our puppy when he was 8weeks old and started doing it straight away…initially he was not sure about it…I’m sure he did not enjoy it but I just persevered and it became his nightly routine that if his brother’s (older doggie) turn…he sulks and cry in the corner coz he wants his teeth brushed too😂…so don’t give up…

We adopted a senior maltese with special needs & she was the absolute sweetest! However, she definitely did not like teeth brushing. Unfortunately she recently passed away & we are devastated, but are ever so grateful for the time spent with her. The maltese is such a darling breed. I appreciate your video. Made me smile!
