Great video! I was definitely concerned with cooking. I can cook, but not Nigerian food. I am however very open to learning and i am also taking tutoring classes to learn Igbo. Lastly i would definitely be open to moving to Nigeria with my husband, however I take care of my elderly mother currently. If that were not the case then i definitely would.

Thanksss for the video! I am now scared. My boyfriend is Nigerian, i am American and we both want children. I am older than him by 2 yrs; i am 36 and he is 34. We both have no children and desire them once married. I know i am probably considered outside of childbearing age in your culture. My Mom had my brother at 39 yrs old and me at 40yrs old with bo complications, so i am praying for the same results God willing.

She's right, tho. She's from Delta State. That does not change. She is ndi igbo AND delta. We shouldn't make the mistake to believe that igbo are restricted to the SE. That comment "you people are not real igbos, you guys orrow from yoruba" or something along those lines. People need to understand that other igbo dialects also borrow from the people around them. It's only normal. Those groups also borrow from the igbo around them. Many Igbo dialects would share words in common with the tiv, idoma, igala etc because that's how language works On that note, i really like the delta dialect. It's cool seeing its similarities and differences with "standard igbo".

I met a Nigerian man in the apartment complex where I lived. He never ask me for anything. He was working at the time I met him. He went home he called me I heard children in the background and I went shopping with him to get some suits for work the credit card had a ladies name on it. He ask if I would go to Nigeria and if I wanted to go to school and what kind of business would I like to open. He would mostly come at bedtime. I cooked dinner once for him. He ask me to make him a cake we had with the dinner and to decorate the walls in his apartment. We invited him to my daughter's wedding he didn't attend the reception he kept calling to see if I was home yet. I started seeing other men. I think I owe him a apology. I physically met him visited his house and even met his son each and every call would also be a video call. But after my visit he started complaining a lot about finances and too much responsibility that he has i already knew that something is wrong here and he's sharing too much information too soon . Long story short i played back started complaining about my debt and even shared the statement with him he assured me that we are in this together and he will help me get out of it. Few days later im being told he needs to reevaluate if this is what he really wants just because i reminded him to send money he promised we argued he sent the money but we not on speaking terms right now. I now see that he probably wanted to use me to get loans or so i don't know

Sooo my Igbo husband maybe married after all and I need your help. I’ve been here in Nigeria living with him 9 months. He has 2 children which he accepted responsibility for with a Yoruba woman. Recently his sister blurted out I told him not to marry her
drop the mike what!! Then back peddling
so baby momma wife I don’t know what she is apparently has his last name on a bank account. How does that happen what documents are needed for a bank account at uab? Can u just put a surname because you married traditionally? He stills tells me he never married her. I met his mother and father in fact while family in their village and he introduced me as his wife after we married. He didn’t pay my dowry which is not my American culture. Wait back up. When we went to court house he was labeled widowed. Which was news. He claims he just did an introduction to his parents and her family accepting responsibility. My question is does that constitute marriage in African culture? Is my marriage even legal? He wants to come to America of course. Maybe he’s desperate to do come to USA. Then why would sister leak the information. Now. I met this woman and their children came to stay with us for 3 weeks while out of school. U r the expert what are your thoughts? Would an African woman stoop so low to have her children live with her husband and his American wife? Oh and he wants to send his kids to live with the sister to learn his culture and she’s posting on her tictok you can’t take my children. What in the world?? Ok I’ll wait

Hey dear I’m just new to your Chanel and I’m loving everything about it. So I have a quick question, I’m Kenyan and I’ve been dating this igbo Nigerian man here. It’s has been 6months already and this man his always telling me that he got children to take care of that are not his children and his sisters is taking care of them. Again he first wanted to get me pregnant & little he didn’t know told him I’ve got FP. He has been telling me he has pressure at home they want him to settle and marry
Hmmm this man. He again mentioned I should acompany him to nigeria for his vacation and I refused. He doesn’t like to go out and we haven’t gone for a date for this 6month we have been together. Though he claims he loves me. So I’m giving him the energy that his giving me it the way I’m treating him he gets man. One time I slept out at my friends came home the following day he made drama,he went through my phone and checked my messages
But my instinct it’s telling me that his not the one I just feel off and confused.
