Great video! I was definitely concerned with cooking. I can cook, but not Nigerian food. I am however very open to learning and i am also taking tutoring classes to learn Igbo. Lastly i would definitely be open to moving to Nigeria with my husband, however I take care of my elderly mother currently. If that were not the case then i definitely would.
Thanksss for the video! I am now scared. My boyfriend is Nigerian, i am American and we both want children. I am older than him by 2 yrs; i am 36 and he is 34. We both have no children and desire them once married. I know i am probably considered outside of childbearing age in your culture. My Mom had my brother at 39 yrs old and me at 40yrs old with bo complications, so i am praying for the same results God willing.
@BlackDiamond8724 You guys are perfect sis, our culture doesn't consider that at all. Biologically, menopause starts from 45 and above. So, you need not worry sisđ„°đ
@@MimiliciousMimi Okk perfectttt!! Thank youuu!! â€ïžâ€ïž
Half sisters, aunties, cousins, brothers wife.. When he has no brother.. But you don't know that.
They say stuff about you cooking for them or being good home makers they're so sexist.
Yoruba man wants to marry me after 2 months. I know i am a good women but he keeps bringing up making more money and not being able to get better job because of the proper papers
@Key-oq6fi He is a love scammer sis. Money and papers on his mind. Be careful all the signs are there
Thank you đ
I need that one person for really
She's right, tho. She's from Delta State. That does not change. She is ndi igbo AND delta. We shouldn't make the mistake to believe that igbo are restricted to the SE. That comment "you people are not real igbos, you guys orrow from yoruba" or something along those lines. People need to understand that other igbo dialects also borrow from the people around them. It's only normal. Those groups also borrow from the igbo around them. Many Igbo dialects would share words in common with the tiv, idoma, igala etc because that's how language works On that note, i really like the delta dialect. It's cool seeing its similarities and differences with "standard igbo".
Thanks for watching and contributing sis đ
Well, that is definitely not a nigerian man. I'm sure there are some, but in majority of them always are narcissistic. Due to the impoverishment, so many nigerians think that everything should be given to them where they take it
Aaaaaah thank you lady. Even men from Ivory coast are players averagely. Barely honest.
I met a Nigerian man in the apartment complex where I lived. He never ask me for anything. He was working at the time I met him. He went home he called me I heard children in the background and I went shopping with him to get some suits for work the credit card had a ladies name on it. He ask if I would go to Nigeria and if I wanted to go to school and what kind of business would I like to open. He would mostly come at bedtime. I cooked dinner once for him. He ask me to make him a cake we had with the dinner and to decorate the walls in his apartment. We invited him to my daughter's wedding he didn't attend the reception he kept calling to see if I was home yet. I started seeing other men. I think I owe him a apology. Dallas Texas he ask for a picture of us that we had taken at the wedding Lorraine

A lot of scammers in Nigeria due to bad governance.
True! But that isn't a good reason to become one. đ€đ€đ€
You are very very mad.
@elboneeneal367 Seem like you are the one actually showing traces of that Mdness. đ€đ€đ€
Jamaican men love and care for their ladies too.
Scamming is not frowned up ,even by the most religious family.. long as they profit from your USD.. they will go along with it. Lol.. so religious and traditions are a scam too. They dont care about religion, marriage vows.. as long as they keep your money rolling in..
Not all families sis, some without moral. Tradition is sacred please đ€
They show you off.. to family.
Some will still do that sis đ€đ€đ€. A scammer has everything planned out sis.
very good đđȘđwomen should be equal to men
Empathy and proper understanding is mostly needed. Some African men are like this...
My nigerian man has 2 kids with 2 different woman
Hmmmmmđ€đ€đ€đ€
They won't know, if you don't tell them. Just don't look itđ đ
My question is: as you give your money freely, is this even possible to report at all? And how?
I don't think so. But it could...

Be careful ladies they even do this in person this has happened to me now recently but i think i was just too smart and witty for this guy where ge grew tired of me. I physically met him visited his house and even met his son each and every call would also be a video call. But after my visit he started complaining a lot about finances and too much responsibility that he has i already knew that something is wrong here and he's sharing too much information too soon . Long story short i played back started complaining about my debt and even shared the statement with him he assured me that we are in this together and he will help me get out of it. Few days later im being told he needs to reevaluate if this is what he really wants just because i reminded him to send money he promised we argued he sent the money but we not on speaking terms right now. I now see that he probably wanted to use me to get loans or so i don't know
Meet a Nigerian man he started off good it s three months in a honey whole hot mess. Everything you try to tell these woman are on point they work on what they feel is being desperate. Show any strength to their bs they try one final attempt to be if you don't succumb to it you remain 10 toe they move on to the next. Be no man's fool no matter where they live Africa have some of the most beautiful looking people with no soul. The rarity that be worth it you have to be bless cause the con is real. I thank u for warning woman u made me aware and super on guard. His out in the wrong doing when I said something he was like I don't understand. But say anything about money his ears perked up like pointy ear canine.
Yes that is very true, my fiancé has talked to me about that.
No one will be submissive to a man that they got to bring half
So their Mother's or Father's don't teach them about what it means to be a husband? What do they share then? Because there's much more to marriage than having children and being someone's maid. I've been married for 20 years.
@Lavenderspice942 To be a man, take responsibility and money making. So... they hardly help their wives or involve in house chores
@@MimiliciousMimi Oh I see now interesting

Sooo my Igbo husband maybe married after all and I need your help. Iâve been here in Nigeria living with him 9 months. He has 2 children which he accepted responsibility for with a Yoruba woman. Recently his sister blurted out I told him not to marry her⊠drop the mike what!! Then back peddling⊠so baby momma wife I donât know what she is apparently has his last name on a bank account. How does that happen what documents are needed for a bank account at uab? Can u just put a surname because you married traditionally? He stills tells me he never married her. I met his mother and father in fact while family in their village and he introduced me as his wife after we married. He didnât pay my dowry which is not my American culture. Wait back up. When we went to court house he was labeled widowed. Which was news. He claims he just did an introduction to his parents and her family accepting responsibility. My question is does that constitute marriage in African culture? Is my marriage even legal? He wants to come to America of course. Maybe heâs desperate to do come to USA. Then why would sister leak the information. Now. I met this woman and their children came to stay with us for 3 weeks while out of school. U r the expert what are your thoughts? Would an African woman stoop so low to have her children live with her husband and his American wife? Oh and he wants to send his kids to live with the sister to learn his culture and sheâs posting on her tictok you canât take my children. What in the world?? Ok Iâll wait
Thanks for sharing with Us a wholesome Vlog with your beautiful family đ
Well actually if the two of them are supposed to do the chores, then "helping" the wife IS not the correct Word. They are just doing their part, not helping nobody.
That's what I think too, but our men will always make it seem like they are doing you a favor by helping. They do it, only if the feel like... Or else... they don't.
â@@MimiliciousMimi they must be educated in this since childs by their mothers... Otherwise I don't see how they would change.
Oh, well not all white men help around the house
And some women don't marry, because of personal reason to themselves. So other peoples opinions regarding why they are not married is honestly nothing to do with anybody else
But most do right?
@sophielawrence5017 I agree
I now know I am lucky because my husband helps with house chores. I do thank him
@22vlawrence Yes sis, be happy. Any one with an African man that helps her.. Should be glad. Am glad too but I need him to help more đđđ
Hey dear Iâm just new to your Chanel and Iâm loving everything about it. So I have a quick question, Iâm Kenyan and Iâve been dating this igbo Nigerian man here. Itâs has been 6months already and this man his always telling me that he got children to take care of that are not his children and his sisters is taking care of them. Again he first wanted to get me pregnant & little he didnât know told him Iâve got FP. He has been telling me he has pressure at home they want him to settle and marry⊠Hmmm this man. He again mentioned I should acompany him to nigeria for his vacation and I refused. He doesnât like to go out and we havenât gone for a date for this 6month we have been together. Though he claims he loves me. So Iâm giving him the energy that his giving me it the way Iâm treating him he gets man. One time I slept out at my friends came home the following day he made drama,he went through my phone and checked my messages⊠But my instinct itâs telling me that his not the one I just feel off and confused.
@Celine_nennninah It seems like he is married back home sis and doesn't want anyone to see you with him. Kids back home mostly = to wife back home.
10/ 10 nigerian men, i knew from work or through common friends have the same history. Using western woman for visa or any kind of benefits, once they are done with the woman. Goodbye without empathy.. the worst is they will have a child with these women. . the kids suffers.
I think my naija husband is trying to bring his babymom to our condo in Canada Iâm back in America I heard him asking her if she got her passport from the travel agency

Why do they do this? my ex was planning a baby with another woman after I gave him two little girls I left and now he wants me back and says heâs bored of her after I found out he had a little boy to her who is not much older than my daughter.i always tell him to deal with his retirement plan đ
I really can't say in this regard, at least you had children already for him. Maybe he was already married to her before he married you sis.
