Bruh... This is so stressful, I commend u for ur patience! From the amount of checkpoints and given they are present even in the middle of city and near tourist attractions, I can understand the stereotypes about EGYPT being a police state. Have fun ;) tho
Hello :) ... Thank you for your comment :) ... I have no idea how it is perceived from the point of view of an average Egyptian citizen, but from our tourist perspective it was no problem whatsoever ... more, it was reassuring that the local authorities pay special attention to the security on the roads and in the cities ... the Police were always very kind and friendly to us, even when we got a speeding ticket on the road from Suez to Hurghada :) ... really, it was a part of a local reality scene, but nothing to worry about if you are a normal person with true intentions to respect local laws and customs and to get to see different faces of Egypt :) ... PAP
