I presented to Dr. Robert Foster as a complicated case of cubital tunnel syndrome with the need for a Guyon’s release. I was considered a severe case, and was in danger of losing the use of my dominant arm. I have some comorbidities that made the surgery more dangerous, but Dr. Foster took excellent care of me. It has been one year and 6 months since my submuscular transposition and Guyon’s release, and I am 100% recovered with full range, mobility, feeling and strength. He’s absolutely right. He does tell his patients to move and stretch. He started me on a rehabilitation the very day of surgery with planned exercises. I have spoken with many patients who have not recovered well and are in physical therapy. I was able to skip PT entirely because of his recommendations. This Doctor is smart, capable, and dare I say works miracles.

Dr. Blais is absolutely the best. My Girlfriend has had both hips and just a week ago a total reverse shoulder replacement done by him. This man loves what he does for a living and it shows. I had a shoulder surgery done there by Dr Carolyn Hyde. It was convenient, and relaxed. Plus, the intimate setting of the Surgery Center allows for a more personal exchange, and attention from all of the medical staff. I've been a patient of Dr. Smith's and at some of the other doctors at Texas Orthopedics (Northwest) in Round Rock and Cedar Park, Texas. Dr. Smith (half the time I call him "Doctor Scott" - but I'm an old lady and claim "granny" privileges) repaired a torn rotator cuff on me in 2009 or 2010. It was a non-sports-related injury and I was already 60 years old. Dr. Smith and his excellent team at the TXOrtho Surgery Center in NW Austin did a great job from the first office visit to post-operative care and follow ups. The administrative staffs, MRI staff, clinical staff, surgical staff, and especially Dr. Smith treated me as if I were the only patient they had: patient, informative, skillful, caring, encouraging, you name it. Pick any adjective that defines the best qualities of medical health professionals; that has been and continues to be my experience with the folks at Texas Orthopedics. And it's not just Dr. Smith: Dr. Christopher Danny (my knees and hips doc) and Dr. Robert Koval, (rheumatologist) and their respectives staffs are also excellent.
