Not sure why this is being advertised on a nice wheel.. but that’s not what there for. These are mechanical versions of hydraulic bead breakers. They are meant for tractor and industrial tires and they work marginally well… that said I’ve used a slide hammer bead breaker on steel car rims. But those can’t really be damaged from it

the short throw of that screw makes this mostly useless on a lot of rims especially classic cars.. but i could modify it or make my own version i suppose

Just finished installing my seat. Kind of wish I wouldn’t have cut those back squares out. Rather heated them up and tried to shape it out of the way. Otherwise install went exactly like this video. 👍

Does the sand affect the belt without a cover?
