Hello, please share practice test as well.
I need your help and guidance in preparing my TEF exam sir. Very important for me to pass TEF in next 6 months
Hey sure - how can I help?
Superb explanation of writing section B. Je suis totalement d’accord avec toi 😊
Mais je ne trouve pas de liste des mots que tu as partagés.
It’s in the pinned comment :)
Listening engagement speaking
;Could you give refrence to preofessional help that you sought towards the end of your preparation specially for writing and speaking please ...
Sure. I talked a bunch of professional teachers on italki. One of the best of them was Steve - he is based out France and does a great job at pointing out your errors - he can be overly critical at times but that’s good for your overall preparation. On italki there are two types of teachers- community and professional. Professional teachers are trained to prepare students for exams like DELF. Most of them are not familiar with the process of the exam but first principles apply and this is where you have to be smart about learning writing and translating that to TEF requirements. I’m in the process of making more videos for the channel and I’ll be posting this week :)
How did you work with the writing on your own...?
I didn’t work alone on writing. I talked to people online based in France who were professional teachers and some professionals from Italki. Took feedback from a number of people, did courses online, read books and then crafted my own strategy inspired from the these things.
@@GreenFrenchTV yes having hard time finding good people to review the writings could you refer some?
@@pratimagyawali5561 Sure - check out Steve on italki
Hey Anubhav, regarde une fois le nouveau format de l'épreuve de compréhension orale...C'est devenu fou maintenant. Je suis heureux que tu aies déjà réussi le test, car aujourd'hui ce sera presque impossible pour un non-natif à y parvenir...
I will be sure to do that and share my thoughts about it :) Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Very good and honest view of the process 😊good luck for future move to Canada ! One question, have you taken classes?
Hey I’m in Canada and no I did not take any classes :)
Hey Est-ce- que vous avez le dossier pour les vocabulaire de section A du EE aussi puisque un fichier vous avez partagé pour Section B de EE du TEF ? Si vous avez ça, pourriez-vous nous partager? Merci beaucoup pour toutes les information.
Thank you very much buddy. ❤❤ Great advice !
Salut! Est-ce que vous offrez toujours une consultation? Est-ce que je peux réserver une consultation avec vous ?
Oui, je propose toujours une consultation. Vous pouvez utiliser ce lien - topmate.io/anubhav_khanna Things to note - I help English speaking candidates who do not have any background in French reach the B2/C1 levels to help them with French as a secondary language - not their their primary language. I do not have any expertise about reaching the C2 levels. Also, since it is targeted towards English speakers, the consultation happens in English and not French because I am more comfortable in expressing myself in English than French. If this is you, I am more than happy to help! :)

Thanks bro for this video. I followed youe advise - i started wirh coffee break French & now I'm currently practicing with Hugo- inner french. I know i have a long way to go, but i believe i can. Hope you having an awesome time in canada? The last time i asked if yoi could do a video on asking questions frech exam- how do you open the conversation, linking words or sentences you use im between, snd how do you close the conversation after you must have asked the 10 question. Thanks for always responding to my questions
thanks for the efforts, very helpful!
Hi! I'm new in your channel like your video.I have some questions plz give some advice *From where I have to start I need clb 7 in shortest period of time due to my age my points are low. *recommend me a teacher because I am totally new. Thanks
Hey! You should start with basic phrases on applications like Memrise and Babel. Focus on listening first because that is where code learning begins. Do not over stress on the grammar and please do not think that learning grammar is what a beginner should do. Just do the very basics and start with Coffee Break French Season 1 (it’s a podcast). Then go ahead and watch French movies with subtitles, watch more beginner friendly videos on CZcams and slowly progress. On Teachers - PLEASE STAY FROM A TEACHER! They are no good. Go on your own :)
Thanks a lot❤
Thank you so much for the word list and the video!
That's nice. Btw how's Canada in general, is it worth the hassle of learning French and all the effort at the end??
All I can say is that it’s not a simple life here, but if you like to hustle and are willing to stretch yourself, you can build a good life in Canada :)
Trucs et astuces indispensables..Merci beaucoup Monsieur..
Merci à vous :)
i dont know how could anyone study all the three editos as well as french grammar book in 6 month. as long as I know I will take approximately 1 and half year to get complete familierty so you jest read that's
For example, if he or she doesn't understand french, how will they understand a movie 😂
Haha, that’s why you have to use English subtitles with it, which are easily available on Netflix. The idea is to expose yourself to sound and rhythm of natural French
Thank you! I had just made a plan of completing the very two books that you mention in this video and you just changed my mind for the best :) now ill get back to those books in the very last maybe when i dont even need to complete those books 🙂
You don't even need to touch those honestly. Rather focus on listening and speaking, and read things which naturally interest you. That would really skyrocket your preparation!
@@GreenFrenchTV Thank you!! You're the best, Anubhav! But this video has been an eye-opener for me, really! You know, I did complete this PMP French grammar last month and although it did help me technically, now I'm able to read and understand the entire language - thanks to this book but you're so on point, man - I feel so constricted when it comes to speaking or listening, I'm always thinking of which tense which preposition which adverb and so on OMGGG the thoughts keep racing and in the end I just can't do it - really feel incapable of speaking but I now feel so lucky to have come across your video so early in my journey rather getting to it after doing those books 4 to 5 more times lol yes, thats what I'd originally planned :D After listening to you last night, I immediately blindly started with this focus-on- listening approach you recommended and I can already feel that constriction going away. All thanks to you! May Allah bless you always! :)
btw, I even recognized the French channel you referred to in your video as soon as you mentioned all those books and having a study partner strategy :D I was considering purchasing one of their courses but I didn't in the end - do you think it adds to your learning? Or one can do it themselves even without any teacher's help? TIA!!
@tehreembhatti2948 I think you should go on your own, especially after having done the PMP book :)
@tehreembhatti2948 I am glad I could help you! All the best!
I am a Pakistani who has gone through this process and I can attest to the veracity of all your claims regarding language learning. Fortunately, I did not fall into the "learn grammar well" trap and I took my advice from guys like Steve Kaufmann and Stephan Krashen. In short, Comprehensible Input is the key to learning any language.
Congratulations on your achievement! I am glad you mentioned Stephen Krashen and Steve Kauffman. They are my heroes too!
How did u do it from pakistan? I want to learn too
@@fatimajamalussama I can only tell you about what worked for me. I spent all of my available time watching french videos on CZcams and french series on Netflix with subtitles in french. I also installed an application called "Reverso" on my phone which I used to translate and look up unknown words in the subtitles. Spend at least a year doing this and then for the next three to six months just concentrate on exam specific preparation by doing tons of practice exam questions. Best of luck!
Thank a lot
Thank you so much for advice and motivation

Please share your strategies for vocabulary enhancement so that the words are etched in our mind and we have the fluency.
Thanks a lot!!!! Your channel is a treasure which many French learners haven't unearthed!
Did you have any tutor or teacher anywhere during your journey?
Hi Saba I did not have a teacher, but I paid native speakers and professional language experts to talk to me on italki :)
Amazing!!! Simply superb! You are the first one who doesn't recommend a whole set of books to start with!! I bought books but I think it's more like coursework and not efficient for those who want to learn French in a fast pace.
Thanks a lot!! Are there any resources to practice speaking without a buddy or teacher?
Thanks for this video it's really informative. I have a question how did you improve your french vocabulary? As knowledge of vocabulary will help my trading and speaking? 2) In asking questions task 1 please what filler words or phrases did you use in-between? Could you do a video that explains how you approached asking questions. I'm also preparing for my french exam I really need a language partner. Thanks
Thanks ones more, I have searched CZcams channel, but I couldn't find "parrallesse ? Is she also on CZcams? Thanks
I will very shortly make new videos on Vocabulary, filler words and also section B of the writing section. As for the podcast - it is Passerelles :)
Thanks for replying and I looking forward to your next video
Thanks once more, I'm still going through the coffee break French it really amazing- it will enable me strengthen my french based. Pls I have a question "what were the strategy you used to fully Maximize the coffee break French & inner materials? I'm happy I found your CZcams channel. I don't have a french tutor and have been studying alone for months so as to ace the TCF, but I think at a point I will need a language partner. So how did you make mastery of your speaking skills? Thanks for your videos that are amazing. More power to your elbow!
@@mosesbroderick5964 For the podcasts, please keep listening to both podcasts and even Netflix series for that matter, eventually you will find that you have become really comfortable with the language. For speaking - I practiced a lot in my head - speaking to myself. I also took speaking practice sessions with tutors on Italki I hope that answers your questions :)
Sir please make a very how to learn French language
“I hated it.”😂I go back and forth between loving and hating it. It’s such a pain in the arse.
Absolutely. Sometimes learning French was just poison, but we need to keep going. Learning French using Netflix really saved me here, because I loved this series - Call my Agent, and in the process of watching and re-watching the episodes, sometimes with or without the subtitles I became better and more natural. I would recommend you do the same :)
@@GreenFrenchTV I listen and watch more than anything else. And Yeah, the math of the language settles down over time. But still, it’s an uphill struggle🙂Thank God I’m almost there.
@@iknowwhatimtalkingabout That's great. I am happy for you 🎉🎉🎉
French is a difficult language and I think it is no different for English speakers. And yes, the time it takes to become reasonably fluent in French seems like 2 years. But the exams are a different story and I think a year and a half is sufficient for preparation (it may take longer for others who aren’t so good at learning languages). Stories like "I made it from scratch in 9 months by working on my own" don't feel right to me. No one should take that as a benchmark.
Very inspiring
Can you please tell how is learn by suchita ? Or any course that you suggested?
Haven't heard good things about Suchita, French Tweets and BBarters. They just bundle up recorded grammar courses and sell that. It's not effective. Go for Story learning courses by Olly Richards for French. Also you can checkout Building a Strong Core by Hugon Cotton. I haven't taken the course myself, but I did the advanced one and that was good. But stay away from Suchita, French Tweets and BBarters is my general advice to everyone:)

Thanks Chirag :)
Thanks for sharing your experience. You've emphasized on listening and speaking, Could you please elaborate on Verb Conjugations, It looks like, one might have to mug up hundreds of verbs, Then there is present, past, future and don't know what else. I feel overwhelmed.
Thanks for sharing. I know it can be overwhelming. The key is that for the present tense you memorize the conjugation structures like for -er, re- and other exceptional verbs, only for the present tense cases. Remaining tenses will organically grow on you as you immerse yourself in French and start using it yourself, through continuous use and immersion one day you will naturally imbibe the remaining tenses, so don't worry about trying to learn them.
The much needed realistic help! Merci! link to pdf is best!
