The keyboard is not to be released until late 2024 during their 10th anniversary (which makes sense when you think of it). The reason it's taken so long to release is that the company realized a huge improvement to the 1st generation of the Centerpiece. It would quickly become an obsolete product if it was not fixed and prior to the "release" people were given Centerpiece founders edition codes (which they payed for). Instead of making 2 models of the Centerpiece effectively scamming people, they chose to make just one Centerpiece pro.
This keyboard is likely vaporware and will probably never come out.

It sounds like utter b***shit... You can't "swap out" mechanical switches for hall effect ones - you would have to swap out the entire PCB. Either way, where are the switches going? You can't have a seamless display for a mechanical switch. Nominally it may be plausible for a hall effect switch but you would need a transparent LCD layer with no metal backing - and looking at that video that LCD definitely has metal backing.
