This control panel is an auxiliary type that would be an interface between a building's initiating devices and a Gamewell master box. It also has a contactor relay to sound 120v AC interior fire alarm signals in conjunction with the activation of initiating devices. This panel has a means of doing a master code.

One of my favorite pull stations right there--I think they date back to at least 1953! A 60-year-old fire alarm system that still works great! these systems are more dependable than the electronic crap that breaks down all the time. I think it's a shame that life safety equipment isn't made like this anymore.

I am saving one of these panels out of an abandoned building, i dont think its coded but it looks exactly like this, but like with 10 extra zone spots. I'll make a video about it soon

this is cool, back when life safety equipment was made to last forever--nothing but cheap electronic junk which breaks down all the time in today's world. I bet the pull station is mounted on it's original backbox. just wait until Old School Fire Alarms comments here.

I've seen another video of this type of panel without the code wheel, so it seems like the code wheel in this panel is rather optional.

Great demonstration and a very nice panel. Sadley, they just don't make them like this anymore. Notrhing but cheap fire alarm systems made now.
I know right there was a high school in Michigan (JFK in a Detroit suburb) built the same year as this panel that had the same exact system, but with the prototype S460 pulls and Honeywell equivalents of Simplex 4037 horns. I have no clue if that system was salvaged before the building was demolished. BTW, I found an apartment building in the Highland Square neighborhood of Akron that has Simplex 4037 horns on a 4207/8 system. I think you should check that place out (if you haven't already.)

Well I've seen people do demonstrations of Couch devices, but not a full system with a control panel.
