I understand the religious connotations, but it’s hard not to hear the sexiness in this song. I’m sure for the religious, it could be interpreted as the only true love is the one you have with ‘God’, I personally don’t subscribe to that notion. Anyway; the simplicity of the sound and complexity of the meaning, it’s the most exquisite thing my ears have heard and if it isn’t at my funeral I will not be attending! 💜
